“…an ID to keep the skinheads out.”
Are they using the lists of far right extremists compiled during the Obama and Biden administrations to identify, “the skinheads”?
The Catholics and other conservative religious people? The parents who attend school board meetings? Those people who demonstrate outside of abortion clinics? Those who complain about grown men waving their junk in the faces of twelve-year-old girls in the Women’s locker room at the Y?
Those “skinheads”?!?
@KimberlyFitch5@GretaGrace20@Republicans I’ve read that poor people actually get in free. But of course, they need an I.D. I’ve been told countless times and often loudly that poor people can’t afford I.D.
Why is Obama purposely denying poor people access to his library?!?
@TheJohnnyKaiser is absolutely right.
Congress, through the power granted it by The Constitution, and with its past laws that regulate elections upheld by The Supreme Court, does have the power to regulate State Law in regard to elections. All state elections. That is why they could outlaw things such as Literacy Tests for elections at all levels of government, even county and city level elections.
@NBCNews I’d reply, but I have some shopping to do…
The first couple of items were apparently for the game in the article. I don’t expect those to sell too well.

@mmpadellan@amber114435 Would these poor people who get in free be the same poor people who can't possibly afford I.D. to vote?
Because, if so, they are not getting into that misshapen lump of concrete that could only have been designed by someone with a fetish for dystopias.
That requires an I.D.
@npd4jr@NMoonitz@PatsyDiabetes I thought that was what you meant when I read the above. A couple of clicks and now I know.
But I’m old. Sigh. I wonder how many younger readers will get the reference.
From the moment of conception until their bones are unearthed 10,000 years from now, that boy and man will always be male. No amount of surgical mutilation and hormones will change that simple fact. If they wish to cosplay their way through life, no one is stopping them. If they, as adults, wish to mutilate themselves, no one will stop that either.
But not with our tax dollars.
Just as we do not pay for breast augmentation for adult women to feel more feminine, or calf implants for adult men to feel more manly, why should we pay for a child’s cosmetic surgeries?
Especially when we do not allow those same surgeries on a child of the pertinent sex. People would scream about, and surgeons refuse to perform, breast augmentation on a twelve year-old girl. And those people would scream louder if the state were paying for it.
One final question. If a man with a penis can be a “woman,” as I have been loudly told countless times, why can’t a boy with a penis be a “girl?” Or a girl with breasts be a “boy?” Can’t we just let them grow up without destroying their natural, healthy, development with hormones and surgeries, and then let them decide? Why is there such a rush to lop off body parts?!?
“…the contemptuous misogyny of a right-wing man."
Please stop lying.
There are no men so misogynistic as trans-“women.”
The supposed misogyny and transphobia is nothing more than the recognition of simple fact: Trans-“women” are men. They may have thrown in some hormones and a plastic surgery or two, but they are still men. They are transvestites. If they wish to cosplay their way through life, no one cares. But, if they choose instead, as many do, to scream their way through it, and to force their way into women’s spaces, they will naturally have the same problems as any other man would. Any negative reactions they endure are the result of their own arrogant, dishonest, abusive actions.
They should be objects of criminal prosecution, not pity.
@_Sandy_Lyle@barstoolsports Biden had to rehearse, have guides, and have spots marked on the floor. Everyone insisted he was sharp as a tack.
He was so competent that Dems were willing to elect him to a second term.
So how can you suggest that MMA fighters are unintelligent for simply doing a walkthrough?
Rainbow pavement is the use of public areas to promote a political message. It is telling that the, “love and tolerance,” crowd would never accept opposing messages on the other crosswalks at those same intersections.
They would instead heave bricks or shoot you in the throat.
But the important thing is that the Pulse shootings had nothing to do with Alphabet+ people, with their orientation. It was a Muslim terrorist attack on American citizens in revenge for terrorists that the U.S. had eliminated.
Can you not for one day stop reducing people to a single facet of their humanity to promote your personal politics and instead allow all Americans to remember them, our countrymen, and grieve their loss?
@markozmaj2@alexchristy17 Well then I guess you believe that Canada and Mexico are also fascist, don’t you? They too have refused visas to those they deem unacceptable.
If not, then you’re just another leftist hypocrite.
“…expectations of privacy in public spaces”?!?
That makes no sense.
Perhaps you are a non-native English speaker?
Because you seem to be arguing for an expectation of peace and quiet at a heavy metal concert.
The word, “public,” means the opposite of, “private.” There cannot be an expectation of privacy in a public space.
You people are nuts.
You must have done very badly on your SATs. The word, “Public,” is an antonym of, means the opposite of, “Private.”
There is no right to privacy in public.
The concept is nonsensical.
Additionally, if that were the case, that it is illegal to film a public area and those in that area, then we would all have to be jailed. We all have pictures or videos of places we’ve been, beaches, sporting events, restaurants, or simply walking down the street with friends or family, etc. that include a random stranger in them. Also, most front door security cameras include public spaces. Dash-cams would also be illegal.
Etc.
If you think that this filming is an any way illegal or violates The Constitution or your rights, please put down your device and go read a book because this whole internet thing is not working out for you.
@Briankeating Do you mean only a single use of one vowel in a word or can you use the same vowel several times?
Also, many in these replies seem not to understand that, “y,” and sometimes even, “w,” are vowels in certain usages.
I can tell that neither of you have much familiarity with the area and certainly have never lived there.
It is called, “The Gulf.”
None but compulsively argumentative social media addicted assholes who insist on forcing their political opinions into any subject, no matter how far removed, would insist on anything else.
