Dear @PiyushGoyal ji, the automotive battery market needs a shakeup. Right now it's dominated by Exide and Amaron. Besides these two, there are no major players. Quality has gone down terribly, over the years, due to lack of competition. Gov't needs to attract battery majors from abroad like Panasonic, Japan, LG battery Solutions, S Korea and Exide of US. Please note that Exide India has nothing at all to do with Exide US, which is the original Exide. Unless @DPIITGoI takes positive steps to bring them to India, we in India will suffer from sub standard batteries manufactured by this duopoly. @narendramodi @PMOIndia @NITIAayog @DoC_GoI
