As the teacher, I would like to use menu self-regulation in my future class and leave some time for students to review everything that we cover in the class also, students could use the time to finish all their missing work.

When some issues relate to white and black, then black people barely have the opportunities to express their opinions, and people would more focus on white people's speech and thoughts, sometime we may not realize this issue happen around us.

I really like sketchnotes, so students could use their own ideas to design their notes, this is definitely better than just writing down the words! In my future class, I would like to use some other fun ways except just asking students to finish many pages about boring writing.

Take my article as an example, the first thing that came into my mind is if Kyle is a black guy then they won't check anything and send him to jail, but for kyle, the white man, at least I cannot see any fears through his eyes/face.

@HaileyKnowles11 Hi Hailey, I think we may ask students to post a question or more that they are confused about, through the questions, students can start the conversation and get to know each other. group work may be helpful for the feedback because of more people=more ideas.

Ideas: 1. More helpful to others, more benefits we will get for our own paper.
2. When we give feedback, it needs prepared and thoughtfulness.
3. For better peer feedback, right down your questions could be a effective way to interact with peer and get more ideas.

@angelatranud Hi Angela, I think as teachers we can provide some new writing structures because students may not have a clue how to use writing styles other than the traditional ones. After introducing some new structures, we can ask students what they think and then plan for the next step.
