THREAD! 🧵 Steve Buscemi was punched in the face in another one of those "random" attacks in Manhattan.

However, I suspect this one wasn't "random" at all!

Why? Red flags below 🚩🚩🚩⬇️

👀 Buscemi, reportedly a Biden voter, is the SECOND actor starring in Boardwalk Empire to be "randomly" attacked outside in NYC in broad daylight in recent weeks.

🚩 Buscemi's attack occurred in Kips Bay, one of the neighborhoods I know contains many Russian immigrants because I lived close by (even my realtor was Russian).

🚩 Boardwalk Empire Actor Michael Stuhlbarg was similarly attacked in NYC last month!

🚩 It was reported Stuhlbarg chased after the attacker, who was "quickly apprehended by police stationed outside the Russian Consulate at 9 E. 91st St. Israel [the alleged attacker] was taken into custody without incident". Was the attacker coached to run towards/into the Consulate? 👀

🚩 Boardwalk Empire, the HBO series about politics and the mob during Prohibition featuring both of these actors, contains various references to Russia. The show features minor characters who are Russian immigrants that fled Russia due to the political upheaval caused by the 1917 revolution. These characters are opposed to Communist ideology and express concerns about its potential impact on the United States.

🚩 Separately, Stuhlbarg is starring in "Patriots," a Broadway play by "The Crown" creator Peter Morgan about the rise of Vladimir Putin in which he plays Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky.

I suspect one potential purpose of these attacks is to generate controversy regarding the purported safety of "blue cities", and can be considered an attempt to influence voters. It will work because Buscemi is popular, leading the attack to become bigger news than attacks on "random" white or Asian girls.

I expect @NYPDCT @NYPDTips to do their job (unless this is something they're involved in for political reasons 🤡).

I also expect the media @nypost to do their job and stop repeating police claims that attacks are "random" without any actual investigation or evidence thereof.

@sailorson30 @PicturesFoIder GTFOH. She's a Cop and should know the law. She shouldn't have waited to get caught or fired to report it or claim she was forced to participate. I doubt a woman of color will be given the same benefit. She needs to be held accountable, not rewarded.
