🚨 This week, BGPD is partnering with local first responders for Active Attack Training at the WKU Ag Center
While we hope it’s never needed, this joint effort helps us prepare to stop threats & save lives
Thank you to KSP, WCSO, WKUPD, BGFD & Medcom for training with us
Multiple first responder agencies will be participating in our annual joint training exercise at the WKU Ag Expo Center throughout the next 3 days (July 21st, 22nd, and 23rd). You may notice emergency vehicles, flashing lights, and sirens in the area. Please do not be alarmed
Thank you to our friends at the @WarrenCoSO , @kystatepolice and the @wkupd for covering our calls for service during MPO Dale Barbiea’s funeral services.
Their kindness allowed all 206 members of the BGPD to honor Dale’s memory together.

We had the opportunity to speak with the international congregation of Holy Spirit Catholic Church this morning.
We joined with the Sheriff’s Office, County Attorneys Office and NCS to discuss community safety, the legal system and scam avoidance.
Thank you to Holy Spirit!
