It's our pleasure to announce @stephanlivera as a BTCPay Day guest speaker!
Host of the popular Stephan Livera Podcast and one of the biggest supporters of the BTCPay Project since its very early days.
Join us to learn why we call Stephan the “biggest BTCPay fan” 💚
One of the highest leverage behavior I have learned is to always try to seek out where I am the dumbest person in the room.
This is not to put myself down in anyway, but if I can set aside my ego enough to be in a room like that, I know I am hanging with some sharp folks.
Last week I wrote a short piece on why funding FOSS isn’t charity, it’s a smart strategic move for companies.
Jumped on @stephanlivera podcast to chat about it.
I hope I managed to clearly communicate it, it's been a while I did a podcast but always an honour to appear on SLP.

Travel home safely and I’ll see you next year in Nashville!
Bitcoin Conference 2026 in Las Vegas, a talk about The Six Billion Dollar Man explains how Julian Assange was secretly spied on by the owner of The Venetian Hotel & Casino.
The conference is being held at that very hotel.
Pure gold.

Got tired of this narrative that funding open-source is philanthropy.
There's that angle but it's dumb and likely harmful.
More independent, economically rational sources of support, and more participants acting in their own self interest fixes it.
