You mentioned using the Sabatier method of generating methane... do you think that this energy intensive complex process will ever be cheaper than using virgin natural gas, much of which we already 'flare off' because its so cheap?

@SetUpUsTheB0mb @vortex42studios @RichardDawkins The raptor engines are still in development/testing. I very well may be overestimating, here, but I feel that a manned spacecraft engine using a "new" type of fuel will require many years of testing before NASA or FAA allows it to carry people
