With a young child and work i get little field time, I went birding at Par after work when the Accentor was found. My only free evening that week, hopefully be another in 30 years. 🤞🏼

I've even been at Spit while birders are at Par, all I needed to do was turn my scope round. I just presume news has already been put out, so don't report everything.

@JackPerksPhoto Minimal editing for me, I want the image I captured (it's what I saw). I sometimes adjust contrast but apart from that and cropping. Minimal editing shows your skills as a photographer and use of field craft, not your skills at creating an image using an editing program. 👍📸

A Sandwich Tern colour ringed at Coquet Island, Northumbria was found nearly 31 yrs later in Senegal constituting the longevity record for this species. They are no stranger to migration, a bird ringed on the Farne Islands was found freshly dead 9519km SSE in Mozambique @CBWPS1
