Nintendo’s future innovations are all baked into their past: Just in the Game & Watch line alone they gave us… The D-Pad (NES)! The dual-screen (NDS)! The kickstand (Switch)!

Look for Switch 2, then, to have a foldable case and mirror screen.

@Dr_Scaphandre @KirPinkFury Pretty sure Reggie said Nintendo's in competition with any other form of entertainment for consumers' time, mentioning Netflix specifically, back in the early days of the Wii U.

So yeah, they compete directly. They just don't follow the same trends as Sony/Msoft.
