Good bet as we witness Kris Draper in attendance at another MTL game tonight, that Detroit and Montreal are close to finalizing an agreement for Dylan Larkin.

At that point, they will approach Larkin for approval, and we’ll have an answer to the MTL question. #LGRW #GoHabsGo

It’s interesting how MSL put Guhle on the right side last wk, then flipped back to Matheson. Almost to see if Guhle can handle long-term RHD 2nd pair IF Reinbacher is no longer destined for that spot.

@BeyondXGoals @Bdurand_16 This. After his 2-3g last week, he’s back to his usual self. You rarely hear his name during the game. That’s a clear sign for a C, that he’s not driving play. Maybe in a diff system he produces more. That doesn’t change his value. He’s a 3rd/4th piece. Not a main trade piece

@HabsFan5l @toddmastersmd @HockeySnobElite Don’t be too sure. Zharovsky is a fool’s gold, highlight reel type prospect. A-lot like Buchelnikov was 2-3yrs ago. Needs lots to go right and is 2-3yrs away from even coming over. I wouldn’t want him (in a Larkin deal) if I’m DET. I’d take Rohrer over him anyday.

@Rick1042 I think what DET and MTL are doing is, getting ready to finalize what their deal will be. Once they agree on the trade, they’ll then approach Larkin to waive.

There’s no reason to ask him to add MTL unless a deal is ready. Same goes for teams like BOS/SJ.
