Friday roundup: here’s what happened across the @Wing_VC portfolio this week.

🦎@greptile announced its Series B. They’re building AI code review that helps engineering teams trust the code their AI agents write, so they can ship faster.

🤖 @dreamlabs_ai announced its seed round. They’re building the brain for everyday robots, a single AI model that helps robots from different makers learn new tasks quickly.

💻 @Recursive_SI launched Flint, a coding model small enough to run on a laptop and built largely by its own AI research system. It’s an early look at AI that helps build better AI.

🎤Coming up: @DeepgramAI Speak ‘26 is next Thursday, October 29 in San Francisco. It’s a free, one-day event for the people building voice AI, with keynotes, live demos, and a talk from founder and CEO Scott Stephenson.

Congrats to @dakshgup, @jang_yoel, @RichardSocher, and their teams. Proud to be along for the ride!

[Wing VC @Wing_VC]

From zero to a state-of-the-art local coding model in under four months. We're proud to back @Recursive_SI, and Flint is just the opening chapter for the Eureka Machine.

[Richard Socher @RichardSocher]

Introducing Flint, @Recursive_SI’s first model: a fast local coding model built with our automated research system, the Eureka Machine.

• Best-in-class fast local coding
• Up to 2x faster than comparable models: 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook Pro, 150+ on RTX Spark
• Built from scratch in under 4 months

Private, unmetered intelligence on your own machine. Open weights available now on @huggingface, run it locally on your favorite framework or try it for free on @opencode or @pidotdev.

New blog post from @Wing_VC Partner @chriszeoli: Cheap Money Is the New Moat in AI Infrastructure.

Chris dug into AI infrastructure debt and found that two companies can run the exact same GPUs and pay twice as much as each other to finance them. It all comes down to who the customer is.

🏢 Big tech borrows cheap, barely above what the U.S. government pays

🔌 The newer GPU rental companies pay close to what the riskiest junk bonds pay, even for the same chips

Lenders don’t lend against demand, they lend against signed contracts. On $1B of equipment, that gap is about $80M a year, enough to decide who can cut prices and who has to raise them.

If you’re building in AI infrastructure, is your financing plan getting as much attention as your tech?

Congrats to the Dream Labs team on the launch of Dream-1 which achieves SOTA while being faster and cheaper than other models. The model is available to try publicly today!

We @Wing_VC are thrilled to partner with the team in their quest to make generalized robotics intelligence accessible

[Zach DeWitt @ZacharyDeWitt]

Congrats to @dakshgup and the Greptile team on the $50M Series B led by Menlo (@deedydas). Thrilled Wing is now part of the journey.

1%+ of all GitHub PRs reviewed daily. 1M+ bugs prevented a week. 10,000+ companies. Fewer than 50 people.

AI made writing code cheap. Validation is the bottleneck now and Greptile is the neutral layer that decides what gets merged.

The war on bugs is just getting started. Let’s go!

[Wing VC @Wing_VC]

Congrats @greptile! Proud to be an investor 🚀

[Greptile @greptile]

Greptile has raised a $50M Series B led by Menlo Ventures. The round values the company at $750M.

Greptile reviews and tests more than 1% of all PRs opened on GitHub every day. Thousands of engineering teams including Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon, and Vanta use Greptile as their independent and central validation layer.

Fewer than 50 people, we are a small, talent-dense team of engineers and researchers in a quiet corner of San Francisco. If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you.

Wing led our seed when Human Archive was far from obvious and deeply contrarian. Truly an incredible group of people!

[Wing VC @Wing_VC]

Last Wednesday, we brought our portfolio founders together in Half Moon Bay for the 2026 Wing CEO Summit.

The day focused on building AI-native companies: how they’re organized, how they go to market, and more.

Thank you to our speakers:
✅ Nicholas Marwell, @AnthropicAI
✅ Ryan Daniels, @crosbylegal
✅ Chris Degnan, @cognition
✅ Qasar Younis, @AppliedInt

And to every founder who joined us. We’re proud to build alongside you.

We @Wing_VC are thrilled to partner with the Ultra Robotics team.

We've seen a lot of impressive robotics demos, but far fewer real-world deployments.

Ultra is building with deployment at its core, focused on making robots work reliably, deliver real customer value, and scale in the real world.

[Wing VC @Wing_VC]

Proud to invest in @Ultraroboticsco

[Ultra @Ultraroboticsco]

Robotics has a distribution problem. Today, Ultra is announcing $62M in funding to solve it, including a $50M Series A led by @hiFramework.

We believe that deployment is the bottleneck in robotics.

It’s relatively easy to make a robot look impressive in a controlled environment. It’s much harder to put a robot into the open world, make it useful, keep it running, earn the trust of the people working alongside it, and do that over and over and over again.

So that’s what we’re focusing on.

[Wing VC @Wing_VC]

We’re excited to back @Ultraroboticsco as they announce $62M in funding.

Ultra is on a mission to build the world’s most useful and deployable robots. Their robots are already running in 3PL warehouses across the US, automating order packaging, and the team is focused on making them reliable enough that customers can build their operations around them.

Congrats to @JonMSchwartz and the whole Ultra team.

Congrats to the whole team on their incredible work and their new funding. Proud to invest in @clockworkio

[clockworkio @clockworkio]

At scale, failures are routine. Losing the work has been routine too. Not anymore.

LinkedIn runs https://t.co/BXAeZpbDtP in production. https://t.co/KGVeA88XHz is bringing TorchPass to its GPU cluster customers. SemiAnalysis measured the payback: goodput loss cut from 14% to under 3%.

Today we're launching an industry first, in preview: TorchPass Snapshots in addition to Asynchronous Application checkpoints. And announcing $31M in new funding.

🔹 TorchPass Snapshots: save a whole running training job, across every node, with no code changes. Free the GPUs now. Resume later. Nothing lost. Platform teams stop waiting for application owners to add checkpointing.
🔹 Async Application Checkpoints: checkpoint while you train, not instead of training. Save more often, lose less when something breaks, and get fresh weights to Reinforcement Learning rollouts sooner.

Our AI fault tolerance is already proven in production:
✅ LinkedIn runs https://t.co/BXAeZpbDtP LinkPass across its AI infrastructure fleet.
"In aggregate, https://t.co/BXAeZpbDtP prevents tens of thousands of GPU-hours of downtime per month across our fleet." Raghu Hiremagalur, SVP, CTO Infrastructure, LinkedIn.
✅ @togethercompute is bringing TorchPass to market as a service on its GPU Clusters.
"Our customers grade us on goodput, the share of their GPU-hours that actually move the model forward." Pavneet Singh Ahluwalia Ahluwalia, Product Lead, https://t.co/KGVeA88XHz
✅ WhiteFiber is expanding https://t.co/BXAeZpbDtP across its global GPU footprint. "We bring clusters up faster, and a customer's first training run lands on a fabric validated end-to-end, not just powered on." Tom Sanfilippo, CTO, WhiteFiber.

Quantifiable payback: "In our ClusterMAX, TorchPass cuts training goodput loss from 14% to under 3% for a gold-rated neocloud." Dylan Patel, @SemiAnalysis_ , @dylan522p. More than 11 points of GPU capacity back, measured independently.

New funding: $31M with @PremjiInvest, @Wing_VC, Seligman Ventures, New Enterprise Associates (@NEA), @etisalatandae

Pressure tested at scale with some of the world’s largest enterprises, neoclouds and hyperscalers. The job never stops.

Stop paying for job restarts. Preview access opens today, and we'll kill a GPU and a link live at PyTorch Conference with https://t.co/KGVeA88XHz. Schedule a demo and preview access in the first comment 👇

[Wing VC @Wing_VC]

We're thrilled to share that @clockworkio has raised $31M, and we're proud to co-lead the round.

When one GPU or network link fails, an entire AI training job can stall while healthy GPUs sit idle. https://t.co/d0kWJykaoQ's software keeps those jobs moving through failures, and LinkedIn, Together AI and WhiteFiber are already using it.

Nova Future Summit was epic. Huge thank you for the @Wing_VC team for cohosting and having me at this amazing event!

[Laura Lin @laura_llin]

1/ Huge thanks to @Wing_VC and @GSMA for inviting me @CollovLabs to NOVA at beautiful Napa, and bringing together so many enterprise C-suite willing to share what they’re thinking about AI, Robotics and voice/video generation

I met leaders from across the enterprise world and got chance for meeting @awscloud CTO, @SierraPlatform founder, @Alfred_Lin @Dropbox CTO. Grateful for the conversations and for everyone who shared their thinking so openly.

My biggest takeaway: the AI conversation is shifting from “What can it do?” to “Can we trust it to do the work?”

Agents, enterprise AI, robotics the demos are exciting. Making them reliable in the real world is where things get interesting.

A few ideas I’m still thinking about
