Ohio’s Supreme Court ruled the GOP maps unconstitutional multiple times under the state anti-gerrymandering amendment. But because Republicans kept delaying and election deadlines hit, a federal court allowed the disputed maps to be used anyway for 2022. So yes: Ohio used maps its own court said were illegal.
