@Dmtaylor125@MikeWingerii Your Church's decoration of faith is pretty clear. You can be saved through Jesus by "obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel." Joseph Smith's theology was incoherent and evolved over time. Just as how later in life he claimed the Father was an exalted man.
@Dmtaylor125@MikeWingerii It quite literally says you are saved by grace "after" all you can do. His grace isn't enough on its own. Joseph Smith took a well known Bible verse and twisted it.
"By grace you have been saved, through faith... it is the gift of God. not by works, so that no one can boast."
@Dmtaylor125@MikeWingerii No you don't, you don't believe that the cross of Christ is enough to save us. You believe we are saved "after all we can do." You disparage the cross by calming the sacrifice of Jesus was not sufficient.
@Leadskates26@MikeWingerii those 40K+ protestant churches (a gross exaggeration) would all deny your fundamental doctrine that God was originally a mere man that was Exalted to Godhood, and that we can also become a God one day. Or that the Church is even capable of falling away (it isn't ultimately).
@Plures_Uxores@WWUTTcom "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" - Jesus Christ
@Protestia “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them..."
