@bizdevtrack Sounds good but a bit too intelligent to work in everyday practice... like, something from a fairytale business, not real sales)
Or is it a sustainable practice already? If so, I would be happy to discover more!
@cymepk Isn't it also a strong statement which helps managers to deal with employee's blackmail? Or, even more, to deal with risks of bus factor?
+ I've seen quite a bunch of situations when the manager could save months and ton of nerves for team adopting this statement :)
@SergeyKuzn2k @HarvardBiz I know that feeling, bro 😄
Right now I am at a workaholic mood, I desperately try not to expect the same from the team, and one day my employee asks if she can take a month of vacation in a middle of important project... I agreed, but it was rational. Not from the very heart)
@katerinabogina Also I want to admit this exercise to be helpful in terms of learning English: it makes you revise The Second Conditional and the spelling of the word 'exercise' 😎
@katerinabogina That's a really cool exercise, I was surprised with the very first thing that came to my mind: if I earned 10 times more, I would run my own business using this money. And the second thought is, I would travel more, I would even spent half of the year in workations.
@katerinabogina Nobody says the value is non-openness or that they hate innovation, or state low quality as a part of identity. So it comes to a little bit too mild and smooth list of values that can be anyone's, whereas there always is something between the lines that makes a company unique.
@katerinabogina Great values! The only thing I would add if I were you – something about your company that is different, something others don't/can't claim. Or, ideally, claim the opposite.
It's an interesting topic to discuss, by the way
@grimalsk Well, I'm looking at my spreadsheet where I use a lot of Query formulas which are actually simple sql, and I think the margin is thin here 😄
You start with #nocode, but you need more, and in the end you find yourself in the middle of the night creating monstrous formulas...
@vladkooklev Me and my colleague spent some time today arguing about access to users’ data in iOS devices. There instead of user’s data storage we have Apple who has access to everything without asking, and we both, a company and a customer, pay to Apple :)
