After using drunkards as an excuse to create problems at Litan Sareikhong on 07.02.2025 the Tangkhuls have now started burning Kuki houses.
The hands of secessionist NSCN-IM is suspected to be behind this.
There is still time to not let things out of hand. @adgpi
What’s the point of an “outreach to renegades” when its Imphal-based activist @Michael_Thadou, despite speaking the same dialect, denies being a Kuki-Zo and any link to the ethnic conflict? The outreach is nothing but simply a humiliating failed photo-op from the popular gomen.

The news of the passing away of a Manipur gangrape victim is heartrending. She was awaiting justice in her case but her unimaginable suffering did not relent. There is far too much impunity in our society, far too much that women have to bear, and far too little we do to protect girls and women. Every day we come across scenes showing aggressive men behaving terribly, taking the law into their own hands, not caring about what their actions mean for others, thinking that their macho behavior will go unpunished (and it does frequently). Often the victims are women and girls and on other occasions, they may be members of marginalized communities. Only the rule of law can secure citizens and give us a better quality of life and a dignified existence. We must work harder for India's women and girls if we have to progress a society. This is just too much to bear.

Rahul Gandhi’s personal life gives BJP & its fake news factory more sleepless nights than inflation, unemployment & Manipur combined.
Modi jets off for photoshoots in 20 countries = ‘Vishwaguru’. Rahul rests 48 hrs = ‘missing’?
Hypocrisy is BJP’s only ideology. People want answers on jobs & prices, not holiday gossip.

BJP’s so-called “Mahila Samman” turned into a day of hooliganism.
🚫 A pregnant woman was stopped from reaching hospital
🚫 A teacher was beaten
🚫 Sonia Gandhi ji was abused in the filthiest language
This is not protest. This is BJP’s goondaism. Bihar has seen their true face—and is cursing them today.
The Kuki Organisation for Human Rights Trust has urged the National Human Rights Commission and the Hon'ble Governor of Manipur to take immediate action to transfer Kuki detainees, who are Myanmar nationals,to Temporary Prisons located in Kuki-dominated districts.

The Anglo-Kuki War of 1917–1919 was one of the most significant anti-colonial uprisings in Northeast India, yet its memory has often been contested, ignored, or distorted. Contrary to recent attempts to dismiss it as a myth , the war is firmly rooted in historical record even reluctantly acknowledged by the British themselves.
During the conflict, the British colonial government in Assam described it privately as “the most formidable rising Assam has been faced with for at least a generation” and “the largest series of military operations on the eastern frontier.” Despite this, public reporting was deliberately muted. The colonial administration released only a single, misleading press note in 1918, framing the war as minor “outings” by political officers, an intentional act to suppress public outrage during the peak of Indian nationalism.
But the truth resurfaced in 1931, when Sir Charles Yate, a British Member of Parliament and former colonial administrator, formally questioned the Secretary of State for India in the House of Commons. He demanded that the “Kuki Hills” operations be officially recognized with the India General Service Medal (IGSM). The eventual approval of a distinct “KUKI HILLS” clasp confirmed that the British government formally acknowledged the campaign as a legitimate military operation.
This recognition invalidates claims that the Anglo-Kuki War was not a real or significant event. It also confirms that the “Kuki Hills” were a recognized geopolitical frontier during British rule a fact recorded in military dispatches and administrative archives.
Historical denial may serve political ends today, but documented facts cannot be erased. The Anglo-Kuki War was a real and recognized resistance movement, and its legacy deserves both remembrance and respect.
