@wizzair Hi. I’m at Venice Marco Polo Airport. Heading to LGW on the 7pm flight. I arrived early to check in as advised but the desks aren’t open. Flight is delayed. I’m with young children. Any idea when the check in desk will be open? Thanks.
Gaza 2023?
No, this is 2014 when Israel launched Operation Protective Edge, killing more than 1500 Palestinians and displacing 500,000 more.
History did not begin Oct. 7th.
🔴BREAKING
Jenin, West Bank: Israeli forces just shot and killed an unarmed teenage boy inside Khalil Suleiman hospital compound. Efforts to save his life from MSF and Ministry of Health doctors were in vain...
The situation in Jenin is beyond horrific:
- Mosques are being vandalized
- Civilians are being kidnapped and stripped
- Children are being murdered
- Ambulances are prevented from reaching hospitals
No media coverage.
Again we say: this is the West Bank. No Hamas there.
This is only “incredible reporting” if you’ve ignored 69 days of Bisan, Motaz, Plestia, Dr. Alareer, and other Palestinian journalists in Gaza, who’ve shown the uncensored truth of this genocide LONG before the Western gaze decided it was finally time to show a glimpse into Gaza.
This has been official Israeli policy for many years, it's just not often stated so bluntly by officials (in English). Instead of pushing them endlessly to endorse a two-state solution, ask them to describe the one-state outcome they support
Sullivan's expression is really something else. This is the face of a man being humiliated in public to his deepest core, but simply can't do anything about it. And Gallant looks like he revels in the exercise: "thank you Jake for killing these women and children with us, it'll last many, many more months"
CNN was able to go into Gaza through Egypt without Israeli escorts. They’re saying there is no safe place in Gaza and the number of injured children is astonishing. They’re also reporting Israel is using “dumb bombs” which are unguided and completely destroy the narrative that Israel is doing all it can to limit civilian casualties.
Disease is spreading in Gaza, and parents of sick children can't take them to a hospital and don't have any medicine. All they can do is hope for some luck.
James Elder from UNICEF on the dire situation in Gaza.
"Schools, medical & @UN facilities are not & should never, ever be a target. Unfortunately, in #Gaza, they have quite often become just that."
@UNLazzarini You’ve heard me many times say: no place has been spared, not even places that normally should be protected by laws of war.
"I don't want to die and be torn to pieces."
The martyrs Lana and Mohammed Ghassan Radwan.
Lana was six years old, and Mohammed was 11 years old.
Hamoud and Lana, my darlings, were the soul of the house.
Two days before her martyrdom, Lana sent a spontaneous video to her sister, saying she didn't want to die, be torn to pieces, and that she missed her school and her friends there.
As for Hamoud, he was the smart hero who dreamed of becoming a soccer player and was supposed to attend a match at the club, but he was martyred before he could make it.
Lana and Mohammed were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on their home, along with their mother and siblings, on October 17, 2023.
