If Ramesh from Thane, Savio from Dahisar, and Gurpreet from Bandra wants to travel to Surat by road, they all need to converge at this notorious point in Bhayandar called the Fountain Junction

Those aware of this place would already know how bad things could get here. This place has been in a perennial traffic jam for the past decade or so.

It's a travesty that the only way in and out of Mumbai -- the financial capital of India -- is this single choke point. The nearest other alternative route is over 25 km away.

Let me repeat: There is only a single northbound bridge that connects Mumbai to Northern India.
