you can check the card details on what information he entered , like same billing address or different names. that'd give you a clue if its stolen card or something else is happening.
some services provide instant card generation e.g. revolut, so its also possible that its his own cards.
@andi_losing Nice strategy 😆 in the end its simply a trade-off between gross margin and compliance headache.
btw you're seeing these countries because they have a requirement for vat registration before you sell in those countries.
@DanielLockyer@patrickc@jrfarr perhaps because of version difference on your stripe account and api call. but even than only the structure should be different, data should still be the same.
@michaelaubry Add a moderation layer between generation and making something public. Nothing should go public that break's your partner's (e.g. stripe) TOS.
This information is inaccurate. It suggests that no one received their payouts after we closed, which is not the case.
Here is the correct payout timeline:
18 Oct 2025: Borderless users with *Available* balances were able to withdraw immediately after shutdown.
23 Oct 2025: Non-Borderless Canadian users with *Available* balances were paid out.
25 Oct 2025: Non-Borderless US users with *Available* balances were paid out.
18 Nov 2025: Non-Borderless (US + CA) users with *Pending* balances were paid out.
The only users who still have not received their funds are:
1. Borderless users with *Pending* balances, because our payout partner is still working on releasing those.
2. Non-Borderless users who never added a bank account, so our payout partner has no destination to send their funds to. These users can still access their Tributify dashboard and follow the instructions provided to complete the payout process.
@MeanbeanVi @soulcollxctor Appeal won't make sense anyway, because Tributify is not using Stripe since August 2025. So even if you appeal and you get the account back, it won't be used.
