This guy has brain cancer.
He has 784 subscribers and posts one VLOG a day on YouTube, despite nobody really watching them.
He seems very kind, and he's building games knowing that he has < 5 years to live.
I wanted to send him some support, so you can check his channel here https://t.co/Sy8uLhQeky.
He's also on X at @SudoKidTV, but not sure he's active.
After watching his videos, I felt grateful.
Grateful to be alive.
Grateful to be loved.
Grateful to be healthy.
Thank you, SudoKid ❤️
@Akintola_steve JWT is the least complex and is easier to manage instead of the taking on the added complexity of maintaining a shared memory store. Matters a lot if you manage your own infrastructure.
How is AI Killing Jobs?
Zoho's CEO Sridhar Vembu just explained it:
- Data centers need more servers.
- Server costs are 3-4x higher than 6 months ago.
- Not AI servers. Normal servers.
- Because AI consumed all the memory chips.
So many layoffs may not be happening because AI has already replaced people.
They may be happening because companies need cash to fund their AI investments.
The AI race isn't free.
Someone has to pay for the GPUs, data centers, and servers.
Right now, that "someone" might be employees.
AI isn't just taking jobs.
Companies may be cutting jobs to afford AI.

Could have left Sri Lanka years ago. Most of my batchmates did. Better pay, better lifestyle, easier life. But something about this place keeps you here..
Its not logical. I know that. The queues in 2022 and now in 2026 again, the power cuts, the rupee crashing while your friends are posting UK snow pics. You question it every few months.
This country will test you. Every single day. But if you survive it here, you can survive anything. And when things eventually turn around, and they will, the ones who stayed will be the ones who built it. Most people leave to find a better life. Some of us stay to build one.
controversial: the world doesn't give a f*ck about your intelligence and your personal dreams. it's a game of providing value and signals. if you're a genius but miss the significant signals, you'll be ignored
this leads to a deeper question: what does success even mean? whether you become insanely successful (whatever the majority thinks that means) or end up a noname working at a bar
either way, you need to create your own life of excitement, joy and adventure. because status games are so overrated. you should always focus on real intrinsic value for yourself or others (your family for example)
i'm convinced that we can all craft our perfect life. by pushing harder and smarter, creating more and faster and gaining new perspectives using our creativity
in the end, only this remains:
you only have one shot. one life.
so do something that makes you smile
Hey @RoshanKrRaii - not quite.
India is unfortunate to think an Indian in the US is better than an Indian in India.
White guy out of the west is even better, of course.
We have the same thing in Sri Lanka. Until we beat this colonial-influenced mindset, we will continue to bend over and sacrifice our soverignty.
The cost of code is coming down, so we will consume more of it.
The productivity of coders is going up, so they will become more valuable.
Coding now includes training and driving models.
If you want to be rewarded, you have to be irreplaceable.
If you want to be irreplaceable, you have to be unique.
If you want to be unique, you have to be authentic.
If you want to be authentic, stop listening to everyone and everything else.
It’s drowning “you” out.
