It is obvious, armed criminals brutally killed U Khin Maung Latt, NLD chairman of 7th ward from Pan Bal Tan as soon as he was detained. still cant confirm that they shot with guns or other. In pic, his head was bleeding so much.

I’ve seen the pictures of the boy from Myingyan and like many of my colleagues I won’t be sharing them. It’s widely reported he was shot and killed while protesting. I’m told he was just 14. This is one of several deaths across the country today

I’ve seen two pictures of one of today’s victims in Mandalay. In the first she is bravely defending her right to protest in the battle for democracy. In the second she had been shot and killed. I’m told she was 19 years old.

It’s been the bloodiest day yet in Myanmar. Reuters is reporting at least seven killed in the protests. There are unverified reports of many more. Local people say they don’t want to hear “the world is watching” from the UN and others - they want action.

This should make clear that she was not part of protests in Mandalay yesterday. She was just walking on the street. She left behind a six-year-old son.
