I Love Ben, but let’s face it he’s always been sort of a self absorbed, passive aggressive, above reproach guy. He treated O lineman different than the rest. “Selfishly” he needed them.

STOP! The idea the Steelers care what a coaches last name is a joke. The tree doesn’t matter, who his head coach doesn’t matter and people are wrong if they tell you different. One candidate will blow them away in the interview and that’s the next head coach. The Steelers hire on the interview. It’s why Cowher and Tomlin were both hired. I would say the blueprint for a head coach the last 50 years has worked out pretty good. Rooney will follow the identical blueprint and the best guy in the room wins. PERIOD.

@TraiDay79 Totally agree. His leadership is second to none. But he continually led us to 10-7 recently. Currently we need less leadership and more creativity and forward thinking schematics.

Coach T is still a floor raiser. Not sure he is a roof raiser in today’s NFL.

@SteveOnSpeed I’ll never understand how employers don’t view this as a potential red flag though. If you cant excel and expand your role where you are, what makes an employer think you are a sure fire success and floor raiser to the collective within the new position.

@DavidMTodd @Kryeethe1 Agreed. Ramsey is only seen as a solidifying force at deep safety because the other options are Dugger and Clark.

Largely Ramsey is shot as an outside corner and not shifty enough to play inside on known passing downs.

@DavidMTodd Amazing that Tomlin and co. Swung big on Slay and Ramsey convinced they were the players they were 7 years ago. Slay is unplayable and Ramsey is no longer anything more than a solid Jack of all trades.

Makes you wonder how much tape was actually watched.
