These surveys provide valuable insights into the biodiversity and ecological health of these unique ecosystems. We're working to ensure their sustainable management and protection for future generations.
WWF-Pakistan is working to protect Pakistan’s wetlands! We recently surveyed 6 high-altitude lakes in GB to develop management plans and study their carbon sink potential. #WetlandsConservation#Pakistan#ClimateAction#NbS
Our goal is to protect these wetlands from threats like habitat degradation, climate change, and unsustainable resource use. By implementing sustainable practices, we can ensure their long-term survival.

Happy to be at #SCCS24 at Cambridge University UK.
Making connections with fellow conservationists & excited to share experiences & learn from each other.
I will also be presenting my research on the use of digital platforms for the illegal trade of raptors in Pakistan #raptors
Our expert ornithologist, Jamshed Iqbal, is currently training with vulture experts on ringing and transmitter tagging in the buffer zone of Chitwan National Park, Nepal. Once he is back, he plans to ring & tag a few captive-bred white-rumped vultures & release them in the wild.
