🔴 As of July 1st, regime forces and OLA militants have continued widespread violence, arrests, intimidation, and displacement targeting ethnic Amhara residents in Goha-Tsion and surrounding areas after communities across 11 kebeles were systematically disarmed.
🔴 Regime militias conduct daytime operations while OLA militants carry out nighttime attacks. The pattern of violence has destroyed at least three villages and repeatedly targeted communities across 11 kebeles.
🔴 Many residents have fled to Addis Ababa, Fiche, Selale, and other locations after losing homes, farmland, livestock, and other sources of livelihood.
🔴 Displaced families face severe humanitarian conditions, including limited access to food, healthcare, shelter, and other essential services; some have been forced to rely on begging and informal support networks despite having previously been self-sufficient.

I support @HRF's condemnation of Ethiopia's sham June 2026 elections. Opposition boycotts, activist arrests, exclusion of millions in Amhara/Tigray/Oromia & a skewed process mean these polls lack democratic legitimacy. Ethiopia needs genuine reforms & accountability. #HumanRights @ECLJ_O@ECLJ_Official@StateDept@EU_Commission@UNGeneva
