This proven approach protects critical wetland habitat, sustains the duck breeding grounds that support North America’s waterfowl populations, and honors decades of conservation investment by hunters through Duck Stamp purchases and Pittman-Robertson excise taxes. 🚨

The current policy strikes the right balance by conserving wetlands while providing certainty and flexibility for landowners. Great news for hunters and all outdoor recreationists: @USFWS announced more than $67 million for wetlands conservation on national wildlife refuges.

This includes $44.79 million in NAWCA funding approved by the Migratory Bird Conservation Commission.
