@lucybnj @Zevan07 @fitzfromdublin No worries. There is data out there for the US using a similar excess death methodology that you’re describing with Europe. Even using that instead of CDC data, the per capita rate is 6x higher in Europe. The methodology isn’t identical, but it’s close enough to draw conclusions

But using same methodology European rate is still 6x the American rate.
