کیا بی ایل اے یا ٹی ٹی پی پاکستان کا جھنڈا سینے پر لگا کر آئین کی خلاف ورزی کریں تو ہم محب وطن مان لیں ؟

کیا ہم یہ کہہ سکتے ہیں کہ بی ایل اے بے شک آہین کو نہیں مانتی مگر ہیں تو اپنے بندے ناں

ٹی ٹی پی بے شک آئین کو نہیں مانتی مگر ہیں تو ہمارے ملک کے ناں

تم بھی آئین کو نہیں مانتے ،پھر ہم کیوں کہیں کہ تم جیسے بھی ہو ہمارے اپنے ہو۰۰

قانون یا لاجک سب کیلیے ایک ہے۰۰ جو آہین کو نہیں مانتا ہمارے نزدیک وہ دشت گرد ہے۰ چائے اسکے سینے پر پاکستان کا جھنڈا لگا ہو یا بی ایل اے کا۰۰ یا پھر ٹئ ٹی پی کا۰۰۰ جھنڈا یا وردی پہننے سے مسلح گروہ محب وطن نہیں بن جاتا۰ آئین پر عمل کرنے سے بنتا ہے۰

آج کس نے آہین کو توڑ کر گورنر راج لگایا اوربی ایل اے کی طرح behave کیا ؟

Prime Minister @andyburnham and Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband : how much longer will Britain remain silent?

For three years the father of my two sons, and Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has been brutally penalised by his political opponents, in a personal vendetta by Army Chief, Asim Munir,  which according to the UN,  amounts to torture and which  is now taking a potentially fatal toll on his physical and mental health. 

He has endured 3 years of solitary confinement. For nearly ten months now his family has been denied contact with him. He has been deprived of the most basic human contact, denied access to books, lawyers and doctors.

The international human-rights standards are unequivocal. Under the UN’s Nelson Mandela Rules, solitary confinement lasting more than 15 consecutive days is prohibited and amounts to torture.

He has endured this treatment not for 15 days, but for three years.

Pakistan’s own Supreme Court has now intervened: ordering comprehensive  medical treatment, access to his personal doctor, regular family visits and twice-weekly calls with his sons.

Yet those orders are being defied.

This is no longer simply a Pakistani political matter. It is a human-rights emergency.

He has deep and lifelong ties to Britain. He studied at Oxford University, captained Oxford University cricket and spent years playing county cricket in England. His relationship with this country stretches back more than half a century. His charitable activities were internationally recognised, and  include building the only free cancer hospital in Pakistan as well as a university.

His sons, my two boys, Sulaiman and Kasim, are British citizens. They have been forced to watch their father’s health decline from thousands of miles away, prevented from visiting him, denied visas, publicly threatened by government officials with arrest themselves, and even denied court-mandated regular phone calls. 

I have repeatedly appealed to the UK government to intervene. Purported attempts at back channelling have evidently failed. The previous Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy informed me in writing that Britain would not  intervene if my sons, British citizens, are arrested when they travel to Pakistan to visit their father. 

@FCDOGovUK: Britain must now speak out publicly and unequivocally. Demand that Pakistan comply with its own Supreme Court;  restore Imran Khan’s medical access, his right to see his family, end his prolonged isolation and uphold his fundamental human rights.

Pakistan is a Commonwealth country. Britain has a long and proud tradition of standing against arbitrary detention, inhumane treatment and the denial of fundamental rights. Those principles mean very little if we invoke them only selectively and neglect them when inconvenient.
This an appeal to the new Burnham government  to please now do the right thing.

I want to congratulate the Muslim Ummah today as our voice against the rising tide of Islamophobia has been heard & the UN has adopted a landmark resolution introduced by Pakistan, on behalf of OIC, designating 15 March as International Day to Combat Islamophobia.

اگر کوئی اپنی یا اپنے خاندان کی بہادری کے قصے سنائے تو کبھی اسکی بکواس کا یقین نہ کریں. بزدل لوگوں سے یہ زمین اٹی ہوئی ہے. ساری زندگی سنا بھارتی حیوان ہیں کیسے انکے پلیئرز ساری دشمنی بھلا کر خان کیلیے آواز اٹھا رہے ہیں. جنکو روڑیوں اور گلیوں سے بنا کر سٹار بنایا وہ مرتا ہے تو مرے سوچ کر کنارہ کش ہوئے ہیں... پبلک احتجاج کرنا چاہتی ہے مگر بزدل اتنی کہ گلی میں پولیس عورت کو دوپٹے سے پکڑ کر گھیسٹ رہی ہوتی ہے ڈرتے باہر نہیں نکلتے. کبھی سنا ہے دنیا کا کوئی پولیس والا 70 سال کی عورت کو کہے بتاؤ تمہارا بیٹا کہاں ہے ورنہ تمہارے پورے خاندان کے سامنے تمہیں ننگا کر کے.... سچ تو یہ ہے ہم بلا کے بزدل اور مفاد پرست ہیں. اور منافق اتنے کہ اسلام اسلام بھی کرتے ہیں یہ ساری ڈرپوکی کے بیچ، ہم جنکے قدموں کے بھی غلام ہیں، انکے دس محرم میں کس منہ سے انکا پیروکار ہونے کا دعویٰ کرتے ہیں... ہم خود کو ،دنیا کو اور بالآخر خدا کو بھی دھوکہ دینے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں

اگر عمران خان کا علاج ٹھیک ہوا ہے، عمران خان کے ساتھ کوئی ایسا مسئلہ نہیں ہے تو پھر یہ چھُپا کیوں رہے ہیں؟ عمران خان سے نہ کوئی ڈاکٹر مل سکتا نہ فیملی ممبر کیوں چھپا رہے؟ اپنے دو ڈاکٹر بھیج کر رپورٹ بنوالی ان بیچارے ڈاکٹرز کی ان کے خلاف رپورٹ بنانے کی جرات ہی نہیں ہوگی۔

اگر کچھ نہیں چھپا رہے تو محسن نقوی جو پریس کانفرنس کررہے تھے ان کو کہیں اگر کسی بات کا ڈر نہیں ہے تو فوری طور پر عمران خان کو شفا انٹرنیشنل ہسپتال لیجائیں، ان کے اپنے معالج اور فیملی کی موجودگی میں علاج کروائیں۔ علیمہ خان
