Paank strongly condemns the reported enforced disappearance of four Baloch men, including two 17-year-old students, allegedly by Pakistan's Frontier Corps (FC) during a military raid in Gubord village, Mand, on 24 October 2026, at approximately 2:00 AM.
According to local reports, FC personnel raided several homes, intimidated women and children, conducted searches, and allegedly looted cash, gold, and household belongings before forcibly taking four individuals to undisclosed locations.
The four reported victims are:
1. Sameer Nasir Baloch, 17, son of Nasir Baloch, a student.
2. Sagheer Baloch, 30, son of Sowal Muhammad, a farmer.
3. Zaheer Baloch, 27, son of Sowal Muhammad, a tractor driver.
4. Waseem Baloch, 17, son of Abdul Sattar, a student.
All four are residents of Gubord, Mand, and were taken from their homes by FC personnel at approximately 2:00 AM on 24 October 2026. Their whereabouts remain unknown according to the information received.
Paank expresses grave concern over these allegations, particularly the detention of two minors, and the reported mistreatment of women and children during the raids. If confirmed, these acts constitute serious human rights violations and may amount to enforced disappearance under international human rights law.
Paank calls on Pakistani authorities to immediately disclose the whereabouts of all four individuals, ensure their safety, release them unless promptly charged with a recognizable criminal offence, and conduct an independent and impartial investigation into the reported raids, ill-treatment, and looting.
The continued practice of enforced disappearances in Balochistan demands urgent international attention, accountability, and an end to impunity.

𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 20, 2026 — 𝘼𝙜𝙝𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙜, 𝙌𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙗𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝, 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣:
Sudais, son of Muhammad Ashraf, a 20-year-old student and resident of Madrisa Road, Langova Mohalla, Killi Ismail, Quetta, was forcibly disappeared from his home at 2:00 a.m. on May 20, 2026.
His case was submitted to the Missing Persons Committee, which works under the supervision of the Home Department. At the committee’s first hearing, held at the DG office on October 16, 2026, his family was given no information about him. Then, at the second hearing on October 21, 2026, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) informed the committee that Sudais had been killed in an encounter in Aghbarg on August 20, 2026, and labelled him a terrorist.
This means Sudais was killed exactly three months after he was taken from his home, and his family was kept in the dark for two more months while his case sat before a government committee. If he was suspected of any crime, why was he never produced before a court? How does a young man taken from his home in the middle of the night end up in an armed encounter three months later?
The killing of Sudais and his labelling as a terrorist is not an isolated case. Across Balochistan, a recurring pattern has emerged: people are forcibly disappeared, held for weeks or months without being produced before any court, and then announced dead in so-called encounters, branded as terrorists only after they can no longer speak for themselves. The terrorist label is used to cover up extrajudicial killings and escape accountability.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) appeals to national and international human rights organisations to take urgent action against fake encounters and the false labelling of innocent Baloch missing persons, and to hold Pakistan accountable under its own Constitution and its obligations under international human rights law. BYC demand an independent judicial inquiry into the killing of Sudais.

Baloch Voice for Justice expresses grave concern over the killing of Sudais, a 20-year-old student and son of Muhammad Ashraf, who was forcibly disappeared from his home in Quetta on 20 May 2026. On 21 October, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) informed the Missing Persons Committee that Sudais had been killed in an encounter in Aghbarg, Qilla Abdullah, on 20 August, and subsequently labelled him a terrorist.
The circumstances surrounding Sudais’s death raise serious questions about the legality of his detention and killing. His family spent months seeking information about his fate, yet authorities disclosed his death only during the committee proceedings. No information has been provided about his production before a court or any judicial process before his death. Such cases demand transparent investigation and accountability under the rule of law.
Baloch Voice for Justice calls for an independent and impartial judicial inquiry into Sudais’s killing, the release of all relevant evidence, and prosecution of those responsible in accordance with the law. Authorities must ensure that no individual is deprived of life without due process and that allegations of criminal conduct never serve to justify extrajudicial executions. We urge national and international human rights organisations to pursue justice for Sudais and end impunity for such violations in Balochistan.

Five years are being completed since the enforced disappearance of two UoB students; Sohail Baloch and Fassieh Baloch. Neither any development is seen in their case, filed in commission.
The Baloch students and the family seek answers to this unsolved question.
Colonialism is itself a destruction: when such a nation, whose youth needs to counter every colonial policy, itself becomes the human resource for the growing factor of colonialism, it loses its identity.

Colonial rule is sustained not only through military or by force; it controls the political, economic and social administrations through its institutions and creates such a paralyzed society which fails to function and continues national resistance. Bureaucracy provides a legitimate structure through which colonial power could be exercised beyond the battlefield. A slow death is much more painful than a sudden death; the military kills one at once, but a society whose people are taught that the only purpose of life is to get a degree for a 17-grade job creates a generation living under a slow death.
No bullets, no midnight raids, just job applications and pay checks, and a whole society is erased more efficiently than any military could. The death squad attacks Baloch society from outside. The job-owning mindset mentality corrodes it from within.
Colonialism is itself a destruction: when such a nation, whose youth needs to counter every colonial policy, itself becomes the human resource for the growing factor of colonialism, it loses its identity.

Khadija Baloch was forcibly disappeared on 21 April 2026. After allegedly being held in a torture cell for several months, she was brought before the media and made to appear in a forced and fabricated press conference, which some circles have described as a sign of state failure rather than justice.
Similarly, Safia Baloch, a young student, was forcibly disappeared on 23 August 2026. According to reports, she was later brought before the media under military custody alongside Khadija Baloch for a press conference, after which both were reportedly transferred again to an undisclosed location.
The enforced disappearance of a young woman is not merely a family tragedy; it is a serious human rights concern. Safia Baloch’s family has the right to know where she is and what has happened to her.
We urge the @UN, @unwomen_pak and organizations working to defend women’s rights to urgently raise their voices, demand that Safia Baloch’s whereabouts be disclosed, call for the safe release of Safia and Khadija Baloch, and take notice of reports of enforced disappearances of women in Balochistan, their alleged detention in torture cells, and their being brought before the media for forced confession-style press conferences.
