Only First Class and Second Class Upper graduates should qualify to become teachers. Teachers’ starting salaries should be a minimum of ₦500,000 per month.
Teachers should be required to take professional qualification examinations every two years.
There should be an Education Bank where teachers can access very low-interest loans for car financing, home financing and other essential needs.
Teaching should be one of the most prestigious and highly respected professions in the country.
Pastor Jerry Eze's wife went on stage during the NSPPD UK Prayer Conference to lead the people with her hair uncovered; Many women also in attendance were seen praying, worshipping, singing and dancing, without head coverings. Now correct me if I am wrong, doesn't the bible speak on women covering their heads as Christians, during times of prayers and prophecy?
So how you hold a conference on "Prophetic Prayers" but not obey simple bible instructions. Especially as a Nigerian who knows that covering of the head is something that was taught back in the day.
My goodness.
Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Mark Zuckerberg collectively have a net worth of $312 billion. Yet, zoom in on the phones they are both using. Alhaji Dangote uses a modest Samsung Galaxy, while Zuckerberg employs a Samsung S24 Ultra. Both their phones are believed to cost around $1000 or less. And take a look at their dressing. Like their communication devices, their clothes are minimal and functional. And they repeat outfits. Yet, you mock people for wearing the same clothes they wore last week as if you have never heard of soap! You see, the quality of conversations you have on a phone matters more than the price of a phone, just as what is inside your head matters more than what is on your body. Phones are not a flex. They are not a status symbol: buying an expensive iPhone when you are renting a flat or house is false prosperity. And rocking designers when you are not yet a designer of your success is an excess stress that will depress you. Use your money to get out of debt, or you will forever be out of your depth. Instead of letting fashion own you, own property and investments. Fashion loses value. Fast. Investments gain value. Slowly. In reality, most people are only poor because they make poor decisions with their money, which is why poverty will always pour on them and purr at them!

BOOM 💥 THE SITUATION IN NIGERIA.
The lecturer who demands sex from a young girl before she can pass is complaining about the rot in Nigeria.
The pastor who pays a driver with a family ₦30,000 a month in Lagos or Port Harcourt, while his own son schools abroad, is complaining about the hopelessness in Nigeria.
The trader who removes two bowls of rice from a bag, re-bags it and sells it as a “full” bag is complaining about wickedness in Nigeria.
The civil servant who comes to work once a week and only shows up at the end of the month to collect salary is complaining about politicians who do nothing.
The lawyer defending an alleged serial killer in court is doing his professional duty, but if that same lawyer then calls Nigeria a lawless country simply because a defendant is being defended, there is a contradiction. A fair justice system requires a defence for the accused.
The Bishop preaching charity but putting a password on the church Wi-Fi is complaining about selfishness.
The student who spends the weekend partying and then posts on Instagram about how Nigeria is stealing their dreams is complaining about a country they refuse to contribute to.
The motorist who cannot join a simple queue, constantly shunting and forcing his way through traffic, is complaining about disorderliness in Nigeria.
Some doctors on government payroll who abandon patients in public hospitals while prioritising their private practices are complaining that Nigeria is hopeless.
Some people involved in recruitment who demand exorbitant payments for slots are complaining that the Nigerian government is corrupt.
And this is the uncomfortable truth:
Nigeria is not just the government.
Nigeria is also the lecturer.
The trader.
The civil servant.
The driver.
The doctor.
The lawyer.
The pastor.
The student.
The businessman.
The ordinary citizen.
If dishonesty, indiscipline, exploitation and corruption are tolerated at the individual level, changing the people at the top alone will not magically transform the country.
We cannot keep demanding a better Nigeria while reproducing the same problems in our homes, workplaces, businesses and communities.
Government has a responsibility.
But citizens have responsibilities too.
A better Nigeria will require both better leadership AND better citizenship.
Stop the blame game.
Start with yourself.
"....so the same presidential candidate that have said that he is going to make the son of nobody to become somebody without knowing anybody has a friend who is a madman and for years after leaving office, for years after the madman advised him, he could not take care of that madman or even give him a treatment, so in this last place he said he met the same madman in the same place that he used to see him and still yet he couldn't offer any assistance to the man, so is that same person you want to leave nigeria to, or is it the same person that was listening to a madam advice that will go on and become the president and go and be looking for one madman to give him advice on how to solve the insecurity in Nigeria"

I don't think the maad man is really the maad man, from the answer Peter Obi have been given to many questions asked him, you will know who the maad man is.
Meet Alagbe Hezekiah, the driver who risked it all on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
I saw the trending video of the burning tanker moving with a driver inside, but honestly, I did not really believe it was real? Because for someone taking such a risk.
It happened that the a diesel filled tanker he was driving caught fire while it was being offloaded at a filling station in Iwo, Osun State.
And from what I have read about the incident, I think what he did came from two places: protecting the lives of people and equally getting the burning tanker away without it being consumed totally.
Because technically, if that tanker had remained where it was, we would not just be talking about a vehicle catching fire. We are talking about a tanker carrying diesel, a filling station, nearby shops, houses and people.
So he got into that tanker and slowly tried to drive it away from the populated area
and seeing that it was still on fire, he eventually played through driving skills of separating the truck head from the burning tanker. Reports say no life was lost.
But you see, watching that video, my first reaction was:
“Wow. Didn’t this man think about his family?”
Because this was not one of those situations where you can say, “Let me just try something and see how it goes.”
One wrong move and that could have been the end of his life.
He himself reportedly admitted that he knew the decision could cost him his life. He was scared, but he was also thinking about what could happen to other people if the tanker remained where it was.
And that is why I am celebrating this man.
I have seen only a few blogs carry this story, and I honestly find that surprising. Maybe it is because, thankfully, we are not counting a frightening number of deaths from the incident.
But sometimes, the absence of tragedy should actually the story.
We should not only talk about the tanker explosion that killed people. We should also talk about the person whose quick decision may have helped prevent one.
This is me celebrating Alagbe Hezekiah today.
And just like I heard, if it is true that the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, awarded him ₦2 million for this act, then may God bless the Governor too.
But beyond the money and the praise, I would still tell him one thing:
Please, take even more precautions next time.
Because what you did was incredibly risky.
Courage is beautiful, but I hope you will always return home to your family after every trip.
Thank God no life was lost.
And today, I celebrate you, Alagbe Hezekiah.

Peter Obi says if elected president, he will return youths to farming, and SMEs. All of a sudden it's a great speech according to some people, but when Buhari encouraged the same thing there was backlash.
Does Obi himself own a farm? Is his wife Margaret, the one seen with a berkin bag, a farmer, and will chidlren become farmers too?
If he cared so much about farming, why didn't he invest in agriculture during his youth insteading of being a sole importer of many brands back in the day to make money? He's a billionaire, what stops him from owning one of the biggest farms in Africa to kickoff that consumption to production agenda he always using to campaign.
Agriculture is no doubt important, however, in this time and age, it shouldn't be used just as a campaign strategy.
"We will make sure they go back to farm", the audacity of these people.

Peter Obi's wife (Margaret) is seen rocking a berkin bag that worth millions, and all of a sudden people are defending her with the excuse that she has her own money and can buy whatever she wants. Really? Y'all couldn't even hide your hypocrisy. So it's other politicians and their children that don't have their own money?
The husband is busy campaigning on "From the consumption to production" made-in-Nigeria agenda, and the wife is seen parading with foriegn luxury items. If this were to be Remi Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu's wife, Atiku's family members, or anyone not aligning with Peter Obi the outrage will be loud from those now making excuses.
So Peter Obi himself that claims to have only one watch and doesn't like unnecessary material wealth is watching his own wife spend lavishly on material things. Quite interesting.
I am mortified and deeply shocked to hear about the murder of Bishop Michael Taiwo Fakunle by unknown elements in Johannesburg on September 4th.
After issuing a series of threats his killers went to his home and shot him dead.
I am equally shocked to hear about the murder of Mr. James Uchechukwu Nwankwo by officers of the South African Police Service again in Johannesburg on September 5th.
He died as a consequence of what has been described as "gruesome interrogation techniques" by the South African police.
Bishop Fakunle and Mr. Nwankwo are the 7th and 8th Nigerians to have been murdered in South Africa this year alone.
No less than 4 amongst the 8 were murdered by South African police officers.
Outside of that over 100 Nigerian nationals have been murdered in South Africa between 2022 and today and over 30 of them were killed by officers of the South African Police Service and South African Defence Force.
What is most disturbing is the fact that in spite of our constant expressions of concern about this disturbing state of affairs not one person has been arrested, detained, prosecuted or brought to justice for ANY of these heinous crimes.
This is unacceptable.
We call on the South African Government to do far more to protect our nationals and to bring those that have killed or are planning to kill them to justice.
No-one deserves to be targetted and murdered simply because they are Nigerian.
The Nigerian community in South Africa are deeply disturbed by these developments and live in trepidation of what could happen next.
So is the Nigerian Mission in South Africa.
Equally disturbing is the fact that yet another deadline has been issued to African nationals, including Nigerians, to leave South Africa by September 30th.
This deadline, like the last one, was issued by a number of brazenly racist, xenophobic and Afrophobic South African Non-Governmental Organisations who have openly threatened to target and harm our nationals if their illegal deadline is not complied with.
We call on the South African Government to protect our people from the excesses of these racist organisations and their musguided members and to apply the full weight of the law against them for their lawless behaviour.
We also call on the South African Government to bring to justice those that take pleasure in traumatising, terrorising, torturing and killing our nationals.
Whilst we seek to establish stronger and deeper ties with the South African Government one thing remains clear.
If this vicious cycle of discrimination against and killing of our nationals do not stop there will be consequences.
Simply put our patience is wearing thin.
South Africans are not targetted and killed in Nigeria by our people or our security forces.
The least the South African Government can do is to reciprocate this gesture, protect our nationals and address our legitimate concerns.
May the souls of Bishop Taiwo Fakunle and Mr. James Uchechukwu Nwankwor rest in peace.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS)
8 September 2026
PRESS RELEASE
NANS REJECTS NATIONAL LEARNER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, CONDEMNS NOA’S OVERREACH AND CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE HALT
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has received with serious concern the announcement by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) regarding the introduction of the National Learner Identification Number (LIN) for students in Nigeria.
To begin with, it is pertinent to note that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) is the apex and umbrella body representing millions of Nigerian students both at home and in the diaspora, and as such, the leadership of the apex student representative body must be actively involved and carried along in every policy formulation that affects its members. It must be noted that anything done for us without us is outrightly against us.
While we acknowledge the importance of an accurate database and its effectiveness within the Nigerian education system, we reject in totality and condemn vehemently the introduction and implementation of the National Learner Identification Number. There is no justification for imposing another identification number on Nigerian students when the National Identification Number (NIN) already exists as the nationally recognised means of identification for citizens.
It is important to state that Nigerian students already have the National Identification Number (NIN). The introduction of another identification number specifically for learners is therefore unnecessary and amounts to an avoidable duplication of identification systems. Rather than creating another identification system, government agencies should strengthen and maximise the existing national identification system where necessary.
To be unequivocally clear, NANS condemns in totality the introduction of the National Learner Identification Number and rejects it outright. It is unacceptable for a policy with far-reaching implications for millions of Nigerian students to be introduced without carrying the students along, particularly when there is already an existing national identification system.
Nigerian students are not mere beneficiaries of the education system; we are critical stakeholders in its development and must be carried along in every policy formulation and implementation that directly affects our academic lives, identity, records, welfare, and future.
The National Orientation Agency has clearly drifted from and has failed in its mandate. NOA must come to terms with the limits of its mandate and refrain from assuming responsibilities that do not belong to it.
It is worrisome that an agency established to promote effective communication between government and citizens, provide feedback, and encourage citizens' participation in matters affecting their welfare would instead appear to be championing a policy that imposes an additional stress on Nigerian students.
NOA is an agency established to promote effective communication between government and citizens, provide feedback, and encourage citizens' participation in matters affecting their welfare, and not an agency to merely act as a publicity channel for government policies or assume the responsibility of imposing new identification system on Nigerian students.
If the National Orientation Agency genuinely seeks to live up to its mandate, it must return to the core responsibility for which it was established and desist from overreaching its mandate. The agency should not be seen as a vehicle for imposing policies on Nigerian students without regard to existing systems or the views of those directly affected.
Therefore, we call on the Federal Government to immediately halt the introduction and further implementation of the National Learner Identification Number. NANS maintains that there is no need for an additional identification number when the National Identification Number (NIN) already serves as a unique

@HQNigerianArmy these are your officers who are seen opening fire at peaceful AAUA students protesting against the continuous ASUU STRIKES that is ongoing in their school .
We find this act condemnable and we imidiately demand the arrest of those officers and investigation should be done to what warrant such unprofessional action…
We won’t sit back and watch any students killed by Nigerian army, just for protesting for their rights.
