@erossqueensu Hi Emma, great resource! Providing learning skills in student-friendly language with examples helps students understand and take charge of their growth. It definitely makes skill-building clearer and more engaging for them! I'll be using this down the road, thanks!
@mmelynde Hi Kari! Love this post. This initiative shows how students can take charge of solving attendance issues through teamwork and creative ideas. It helps them learn real-life skills while making a positive change in their school!

@FOUN100MEG Technology, such as collaborative platforms and interactive tools, can enhance these skills for sure! I see it when using tools like Google Docs and Microsoft Teams, as students collaborate and contribute equitably, and engage actively in group tasks together!

This post, from 2019, suggested that higher class sizes will encourage resilienc/coping skills among students. I may diosagree.. I think some data supporting this, along with an analysis of the primary learning skills would provide insightful conclusions!
@NourKhalek1 Super interesting article, Nour! I liked the comments regarding report cards. It provoked thought regarding our reporting process. I feel many value grades over comments and learning skills, creating a gap in communication with parents. Perhaps this article aims to close that!
@FOUN100MEG@mmelynde I was wondering the same thing. If so, does this mean students will get one less elective? Or will the course replace a pre-existing one, such as a math? :D
This article covers the introduction of financial literacy in Ontario high schools. The article suggests that the Ontario school system is prioritizing basic life skills and setting students up for a successful future!

@SarahCombe@adhdjesse@erossqueensu Really cool visual demonstration! Looking at images such as this one I think are great for educators, but also really support students' as it gives something for educators to particularly encourage a student with ADHD to appreciate and use! Thanks for the ideas!
@CorbeilMme1170 Thanks for sharing this resource. It is extremely informative and I can appreciate the details used to differentiate one from another. I think it is extremely important I be knowledgeable on that/other mental illnesses so I'm sure to support my students all around!
@foun100kari This is a great resource, thank you or sharing! This year, I saw plenty of students- specifically Kinders- struggling with the transition, which is to be expected, but especially with the generations coming out of Covid. This would be super helpful in those scenarios! Thank you!
