Over the past year, at the DPI Academy (a joint initiative of @Artha__Global and the @eGovFoundation), we carried out a study on UPI to build evidence on how digital infrastructure is experienced by users.

Nearly a decade after its launch, UPI is India’s leading digital payment channel designed to make everyday transactions quick, secure, and low-cost. But how do first-time users, non-users, and small merchants actually use it in practice?
