If not that some of you are genuinely ignorant or intentionally devisive Even Fela himself said it “he had to refuse commercialization of his Music to preserve his Voice” and help keep his sounds pure of any form of external demands that would require him to not pass the crucial information needed for saving Africans but a few dullards amongst you think @Big_Mck report is all conjecture
One of the reasons I’ll never forgive those of you that compared Wizkid to Fela, you fail to realise it goes just beyond the stardom and achievements which Wizkid has successfully done by the way, but cuts deeper into critical and generational impacts, we are talking someone who held an entire government accountable in his time, which is why it seems like the politicians of this generation carry out their impunity with absolute disregard and zero fear!!! They know absolutely no one with enough Credibility and widespread support dares to call them out.
Don’t let anyone fool you, Musicians alone have some of the most powerful voices in every society, their lyrics and songs don’t have to worship or support the woes of a people it just has to be loud or retarded enough to distract you from critical thinking until your society degrades into absolute decadence where other artists

You guys at the @Spearhead_Af are leading a revolution, took me a while but I eventually figured the end game for @DavidHundeyin was never to save Nigerians but enlighten Nigerians enough for them to save themselves
Save Nigerians today and you have a repeat of what happened after independence a nation without any shared struggle or ideology to unite them against the impending doom, they’ll kill one another before you can rally them together
But allow them bleed together as comrades in arms for their own freedom and watch that struggle birth a nation heavily united and prosperous in that it knows their very survival relies on it!!
Make no mistake, Tinubu will lose in 2027 like he did in 2023. The question now is, are we going to allow him just declare himself winner like in 2023?
you must believe you are special and then go so hard, for so long, with such violent refusal to accept any other ending, that reality itself starts running out of ways to tell you no. you must wage a war daily against the ordinary outcome, until the belief you invented out of nothing in a room by yourself has been hammered into the world so many times that it stops being a claim and becomes reality.
What exactly is wrong with China? Why do they keep executing corrupt politicians, building public infrastructure, advancing technology, and implementing far superior educational systems and programs that push their young ones to the top of society?
Why do they not want freedom of speech and democracy and social justice and everything else that makes Western civilization great?
Why is China so backwards that their citizens don’t even know how to come out and complain about the nonexistent poor quality of life and expensive housing, the lack of bad roads and public healthcare services?
China needs to get its act together so it can start exporting its style of government to 3rd world countries, because other superpowers are leaving them behind.
Lukewarm take: we need to stop using mental health/therapy buzzwords in day to day life. Not everyone you dislike is a narcissist. Being sad doesn’t mean you’re depressed. There’s a resounding difference between being nervous and having anxiety. You’re not ADHD because you don’t like to sit still. You’re not autistic because you’re quirky. OCD doesn’t mean you’re organized. And for the love of all that is holy, not every situation that made you uncomfortable is “trauma”.
Children of the VERY average Nigerian used to have birthday celebrations. The parents would rent canopies, cook and invite djs. There used to be parties and the entire neighborhood would gather to celebrate w the child. I don’t hear birthday music anymore. There’s nothing left
The reason Africa is poor is because we don’t choose our leaders. We are made to believe we choose them. African leaders are chosen in London, Paris & Washington.
