Legit D1 talent getting (assuming) extra weight room work even though they’re very talented kids. Yet average kids think they can catch up with average work ethic.
Average athletes would be shocked at how much work some high-level athletes put in ON TOP of the minimum required
3-1 with a 4.00 ERA and an amazing 30 strikeouts to just 4 walks in 27.0 IP for Caleb Boushley who is our next @exploreminn player call up. Didn't allow an earned run in last two starts, 0 or 1 run in 3 of 5 starts and back-to-back quality starts. So happy for Caleb. Congrats
“We just don’t have time for strength training.”
- 3 travel teams
- Skills coach 3x per week
- 1-2 practices every day
- 5-6 games every week
Then, injuries happen & performance suffers & we play dumbfounded & wonder why…
THIS is why!
Are you always hurt?
These are the reasons why:
1. Never push intensity in training
2. Don’t strength train
3. Play one sport all year
4. Do practice or skill work 6x per week
5. Rarely take a day off
6. Train recklessly or w/o guidance
7. Don’t prioritize nutrition
You know you need to do Plyometrics
