I knew that the ‘back to school’ nerves would kick in this week so that’s why I decided to spend my last few days of summer here... 🥰🌞💆🏻♀️ I get home at 6pm on Sunday evening so I will literally have no time to worry ... hopefully😂🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
A parent has just sent me a video of a child in my class doing my dancercise video in the garden and it’s made me cry... so strange the moments you just lose it

“The best thing about being a teacher is that it matters. The hardest thing about being a teacher is that it matters every day”
I hope that this video I have created brings some happiness to our school community🌈
I miss my school family❤️
I can’t describe the feeling of communicating with my class online. It sounds silly but I just can’t get over it. So many emotions- excited, sad, emotional...I think ‘surreal’ sums it up the most. It’s just mad thinking of them all in separate places. Can anyone else relate? 💭🌈
What I have found interesting whilst in lockdown is the promotion of all the subjects that in school get the least appreciation; Art, Music, Sport. If they are all essential for keeping us sane in lockdown why aren’t they just as essential when it comes to funding?
