Fun fact: The reason cousin marriages are such a taboo in the West is because it was engineered by the Catholic Church so that the Church could strip people of their wealth and power
You see, back then marriages were often used to
keep land, wealth, and power consolidated within clan lines. The Catholic Church wanted to prevent these alliances because traditional kinship networks were the primary rival to its authority. So what did they do?
They began strictly regulating who could marry whom this around 600 AD, if I remember correctly Regulations included prohibitions against marrying in-laws and godparents. For example, a widow was no longer permitted to marry her deceased husband's brother, a previously common practice that kept support systems intact. By the 11th century, these laws became so strict that they prohibited marriage between even sixth cousins, people who share only about 0.01% of their DNA
Families could no longer rely on living within extended ancestral compounds, because the Church would confiscate them like im not kidding. Under traditional law, when a man died childless, his estate stayed within the lineage through levirate marriage or adoption. But the Church banned both practices, alongside concubinage and cousin marriage. So, by blocking these traditional legal loopholes, families without direct male heirs were stripped of their ability to keep land inside the clan line. If a landowner died without a valid direct heir under church law, the land could not be transferred to a cousin or adopted kin; instead, estates frequently defaulted to the Church through forced escheatment or deathbed bequests made to secure salvation.
These, in turn, caused a ripple effect in how marriage worked. The clan could not rely on internal endogamy (marrying within the line) to preserve wealth and pass down property, people
were forced to establish independent, self-contained households upon marriage, giving birth to the nuclear family setup and fostering unprecedented levels of geographic mobility and individual autonomy. which in turn caused another ripple effect on how kids are raised today
so instead of a household being embedded within a broad network of grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, neighbours, dependants, servants, apprentices, and relatives, the emerging family increasingly centred upon parents and their immediate children.
The “village” that shared childcare, economic risk, elder care, and domestic responsibility gradually weakened.
As a result, the burden of raising kids, which was once distributed across an entire clan, was now concentrated on the shoulders of just two adults.

@CRevolutionary1 Calling someone a kafir because of some incorrect views is crazy work.
Everyone will be a kafir if we apply this to every person or group consistently.
Capitalism works if and only if all members see themselves as "pre-rich" or "feasibly-rich-if-they-wanted-it-badly-enough". Remove that and the system collapses.
🚨HEARTBREAKING: 91-year-old Helen and her 88-year-old husband George had been married for 65 years. George relied on 12 pills a day for severe heart failure.
When their supplemental insurance lapsed, Helen faced a $940 bill for his monthly prescriptions instead of the usual $50 co-pay.
Terrified as she watched his health decline, she took the medicine from the pharmacy without paying.
She was arrested for felony theft and brought to court directly from the hospital in a gown and chains.
Judge Marcus, visibly moved, ordered the chains removed, dismissed the charges, and arranged immediate assistance for the couple, including medicine and emergency aid.

@__fulani_ Not really. It's no different from women having to obey their husbands even if the husband does wrong, as long as he doesn't forbid Islam. Disobeying only causes destruction and bloodshed.
@AbuMuhammad006@ibn_alJad No, it doesn't. It teaches you to respect the rulers cause rebelling only causes destruction and groups such as ISIS etc.. you are closer to ISIS than Muslims.
This is the collective mindset almost everywhere.
So long as violence is relegated to a distance that guarantees personal safety, the public remains entirely indifferent.
