@DevillineS I mostly agree, but I choose not to see it as an allegory for SK's journey, just for the fact that it's the best sci-f fantasy I've ever read! The ka-tet are characters with real depth, which makes the stakes so real. Their sacrifices for Roland and the Tower broke me.

Hello! I finally decided to shelve my WIP and commit to a fresh start this year. My plan for the next few months is going to be to finish a few short stories and spend a bit of time on my blog.
