@cooovin@Bean_guy2@AndyBurnhamFC I think you can cater for both. Take people who need support out of the private rental sector so we're not using taxpayers money to fund the private rental market whilst allowing a fair private rental market to exist for people who don't need the extra support.
@cooovin@Bean_guy2@AndyBurnhamFC Currently, if a housing benefit claimant lives in privately owned accommodation, that can be owned on a buy to let mortgage which means your tax pounds are directly paying for someone’s mortgage. Quite simple really.
@cooovin@Bean_guy2@AndyBurnhamFC Are you fine with housing benefit being used to pay mortgages in the private sector?
Because that’s what happens when you don’t have enough social housing.
@faz42 On the Brick Website it shows:

Postcode lookup with Royal Mail gives:
D W Stadium

WIGAN

I don't think it has an actual number. Google Maps is incorrect.
Hi @burnleybuses, what is going on with WitchWay services at the moment? I’ve had 3 buses cancelled in the space of 2 days which isn’t a great experience.
@BenInRushcliffe Be careful what you wish for, if Bev Craig stood she might be forced to defend a housing policy that has done nothing but exacerbate Manchester’s housing crisis. Would make reform blush with how much her council has propped up the super rich.
@AlanFarrimond@LetLatics Fundamentally, we're too easy to beat with the same defence as we had last season, that's down to the system, which is on Ryan Lowe. The system doesn't work, which means you have to change the system. And if we can't change the system, we have to change the manager.
@benhoobs People don’t care about ideological purity. They care about their livelihood getting better and Labour isn’t offering that. That’s why you will lose the next election. If you don’t want to lose, instead of complaining about the Greens, just do something.
@BRSAD39@Schlubalybub@bphillipsonMP No worries, my working is below if want to check it. Numbers taken from Cllr Finch's letter.
WCC transports 10k students, they claim they can reduce that number by 16% if they are able to increase by 2 miles, I make that 1.6k removed. Leaving 8.4k over 4 miles away.
@BRSAD39@Schlubalybub@bphillipsonMP If you think the number is wrong, I'd suggest taking it up with Councillor Finch as you might be able to save him some money without a change to the walking distances.
@BRSAD39@Schlubalybub@bphillipsonMP According to Finch's own numbers in that letter it's around 8,400 whom are transported by WCC so the true number will be higher than that. Warwickshire has a population of around 600k so just shy of 1.5% of the total population.
@Ash_GW Wanted him gone after the attitude towards the Bolton game. At this point I’m angry at the club for not sacking him. Couldn’t manage his way out of a paper bag. Absolute fraud.
