Somehow we’ve managed to build a society that worships money and frowns at hard work.
I don’t know if it’s poverty or something that has turned us into this, but it’s who we are.
Nobody cares how you make money, just make it. And people would worship and praise you.
The vilest person you know also believes himself good. So who, then, is truly good?
Only the person who doubts his goodness is good. Because, by it, they acknowledge their capacity for evil, which then compels them to actively pursue goodness. Constant pursuit, not designation.
Problems. It's very important to have problems. When you have real problems, the voices in your head don't give you time or space to wonder who is watching. Whatever you do, try and have problems.
i hate how social media makes people forget that life has stages. it's normal to be broke, to have broke friends or partners and yes it's even normal to be unemployed at times. these are phases we all go through.
some people are lucky enough to find good jobs at a young age and afford a certain lifestyle. others take longer and that's perfectly okay. we need to stop comparing ourselves and start accepting our journey. i just want all of us to be at peace with where we are in life while still working and striving for better.
