@Shillverstein They usually just want to vent, and typically feel hurt by the fact that we make the solution to their problem seem much simpler than it really is. That being said, still frustrating & childish.
@washghost1 Even in STL, cops only showed up to parties if it got too late or outta hand. They'd only charge the ones who ran/lied. Everyone else got their fake ID and alcohol taken away and sent home.
Rick Jackson, a Georgia Republican running for governor, previously paid to lobby for the "Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act" as CEO of Jackson Healthcare.
The legislation, which was never debated by the Senate, would've eliminated country-visa caps in the H-1B visa category, specifically aiding Avant Healthcare, a business acquired by Jackson's company that specializes in staffing nurses, primarily immigrants.
A lawsuit brought against Avant Healthcare, the subsidiary of Jackson Healthcare, alleges that the company recruited immigrant visa workers and extorted them in what was described as "indentured servitude", making money for connecting the workers to jobs while paying them very little, effectively bringing in slave labor to decrease the wages of American nurses, while flooding the country with immigrants.
The legislation also would've allowed for my family-based chain migration.
Rick Jackson is running against Burt Jones for Georgia's Republican gubernatorial nomination.
Jackson has tried to position himself as a Trump supporter after making a donation to Trump, despite being for "diversity and inclusion", in addition to using immigrant labor trafficking to make his large sums of wealth, in the process driving down worker wages for Americans.
