I finally had an honest moment to figure out what’s been driving me to build all these years and what keeps me going.

Financial freedom. But not for myself, for those around me.

I want my wife to have the option to stay home with our daughter if she wants.

I want to be able to spend more time with my family.

I want to make my parent’s lives more comfortable.

I want to be able to help my nieces and nephews out even more.

So yes, financial freedom is the ultimate motivation behind building project after project.

But it’s so that I can ultimately help those around me even more.

Think I’ll keep this post pinned so I can always come back to it on those tough days.

@coreyganim This is one of the first things I did when trialing a few different agents. Love being able to pivot between different providers and they’re all synced.

I have an obsidian instance running in a hetzner VPS

Grok @bot success story

Planning on buying a few e-bikes for the family for Christmas. Decided to add one more I didn’t budget for.

Asked grok bot to help me pay for the additional bike.

It helped cancel a few subscriptions, negotiated my internet bill down, and found a credit card in my current points ecosystem with a cash bonus.

By the time I purchase the bikes, I’ll have saved/earned enough to cover the additional one.

@wesbos @bot which frame can I buy from Amazon

[ツ John @_johnjohnnn]

@elonmusk @bot Not a Shopify store, but I set grok bot up to run my cousins local tortoise habitat landscaping business.

Runs social media, ads, lead gen, review follow-ups, content creation, etc.

I swapped my whole flow to cursor + grok bot because I didn’t like dots.

@levelsio One of the main reasons why I stick to my v60. I usually just use that with a glass carafe.

We go camping a few times a year, so I also use glass aeropress.

Really surprised there aren’t more non-plastic options in this space.

@dhh @levelsio Beijing and Shanghai for sure. Chengdu was fun too

GM. A reminder that you can just do things.

I’ve been interested in music production for awhile. Decided I wanted to try creating lofi, just for fun.

A week later I have my first song on all streaming platforms

Building a platform around lofi music. Decided to try to produce a few tracks.

I’m now currently fixated on music production. Having ai teach me how to mix, some music theory, and how to use Logic Pro.

Has been a huge benefit when trying to get over the learning curve.
