The main takeaway here is that we're miles behind Arsenal, but so is the rest of the league. If you thought we could compete for the title, you were lying to yourself. But if you set the goal at Top 5, this game gives little to no information about our ability to get that
Managers aside, Chelsea’s owners have spent almost £2bn since they took over in 2022. And I’ve still got some Chelsea fans telling me that my ‘expectations are too high’ 😂🤦🏻. The squad should be more than complete and ready by now, but it’s not 🤷🏻♂️
I honestly think we've been having this narrative about attitude, mentality, experience, whatever, for 24 months now, when the reality is that most of the squad is just not that good.
Arsenal clearly knew Chelsea's biggest threat under Xabi Alonso is our transition game so they dealt with it by repeatedly stopping our attacks with tactical fouls.
They know the referee would play advantage but then the damage is already done.
With their fouls, the transition is slowed down plus the space we create disappears since we're now a man short in attack.
Arsenal are a very good side. If only they understand they don't need all these silly antics to win games.
Disgusting.
I think it’s important to understand that these 3d anatomy models are all built with preexisting 3d anatomy repositories that the AI tool is just putting a fancy wrapper on. Those are models that people spent hours upon hours actually crafting every structure. Astra, fable, etc are just pulling those open source models and making fun visualizations with them but they aren’t actually generating the anatomy itself
Lots of credit that’s being lost for the people who spent probably hundreds if not thousands of hours making the actual anatomy model. Astra is just putting a wrapper on what was the actual hard work.
Romeo Lavia is the same player he was in 2022.
At 19, that meant he was a unique but raw talent who could grow in a different ways. At 23, it just makes him an unreliable and frankly annoying player.
honestly one of the positive parts about this sport is seeing the midfield or backmarker teams celebrate when they achieve a great result because their hardwork paid off
"A cure for cancer is not enough" is a wild thing to say before you have demonstrated any ability to cure cancer. I mean, it'd be a good START! Let's try it anyway, Sam.
