I don't know exactly what is wrong with the leadership of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA).

I quite remember that during our service year in 2017/2018, they tried this insurance nonsense and some of our colleagues @DonkorST had to go to court to stop them.

What exactly is their obsession with deducting money from these meagre allowances? It's just an avenue to steal.

The NSA Board should stop them completely.

I encourage current service persons to challenge this in court.

Allowances are your entitlements, and no one can make deductions from them unless you authorize it. Not even a union or a representative group can do that on your behalf.

This was the reason for our 2017 lawsuit against the unlawful deduction of the insurance levy from our allowances.

Go to court! The deductions are unlawful.

If my calculations are accurate, the NSA and NASPA has made Gh¢ 5,109,540 from every NSS personnel just for May. And they will make that same amount for June and July. Meanwhile every NSP is against these deductions but @SeddohRuth is pretending not to see
