Something broke this week in the US-Israel relationship. When US Vice President JD Vance told a New York Times interviewer that lsraeI “can’t just kill its way out of every national security problem,” he was speaking as an exhausted ally delivering a reality check to a political class that has mistaken unconditional support for a blank check.

The occasion was the US-Iran memorandum of understanding a deal negotiated largely without lsraeI, mediated by Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, and signed over the objections of Netanyahu’s coalition. The far-right response was immediate and unhinged. Ben Gvir declared that “Trump’s agreement does not bind us,” called lsraeI “not a banana republic,” and within 24 hours was posting that “all of Lebanon must burn.” Finance Minister Smotrich called it “bad for lsraeI and the entire free world. Period.” These are the sound of men who built their careers on the assumption that Washington would always absorb the consequences of lsraeIi escalation discovering that assumption no longer holds.

Netanyahu himself is caught in the trap he built. He privately told American officials the deal could be a “home run.” He cannot say this publicly because his government would collapse. So he distances himself from “Trump’s decision” while claiming equal credit for the war a maneuver so transparent that even his own allies noticed. Vance flagged it directly.

What’s actually happening is an Israeli political class processing strategic abandonment in real time, without the vocabulary for it. They were promised a civilizational war against Iran. They got a memorandum of understanding that thanks Qatar for mediating, unfreezes Iranian assets, and leaves the nuclear file for later. Ben Gvir crashing out on X is grief.

An inscription attributed to Sayyidunā Ḥanẓalah ibn Abī ʿĀmir (رضي الله عنه), the Companion known as “the one washed by the angels,” has been discovered near Ṭāʾif.

The inscription reads:

“In Your name, our Lord, I am Ḥanẓalah ibn ʿAbd ʿAmr. I commend myself to the righteousness of Allah.”

This inscription appears to date to before Ḥanẓalah’s acceptance of Islam, as he is identified by his pre-Islamic name Ḥanẓalah ibn ʿAbd ʿAmr rather than the name by which he became known after Islam.

It is also noteworthy that the inscriptions begin with “Bismika Rabbanā” (“In Your name, our Lord”) rather than the Islamic basmalah “Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm.”

This formula is known from pre-Islamic and early Arabian inscriptions and reflects a stage prior to the widespread adoption of the Qurʾānic basmalah.

Secular historians use a tool to verify whether an ancient text is authentic or fabricated. It is called the Criterion of Embarrassment.

The logic is devastatingly simple: A person inventing stories about their hero will never voluntarily preserve narratives that make their hero look weak, wrong, or embarrassingly human. If embarrassing, self-incriminating details exist inside a historical tradition, those details are almost certainly authentic. No fabricator in human history has ever invented stories designed to humiliate themselves.

When we apply this criterion to the Hadith tradition, the results are extraordinary.

The Companions Preserved Their Own Failures
If the companions were fabricating narrations to build a religion, they would have portrayed themselves as flawless heroes. Every fabricated religious tradition in history does exactly this.

Instead, the Hadith collections are filled with narrations where companions openly documented their own mistakes. Umar ibn al-Khattab, one of the most powerful men in Islamic history, personally preserved narrations where the Prophet ﷺ publicly corrected him. A man building a political legacy does not voluntarily document the times he was publicly wrong.

Abu Hurairah, the most prolific narrator of Hadith, openly admitted he sometimes forgot narrations. A fabricator building credibility does not advertise his own unreliability.

Fabricators build legends. They do not build religions on stories where they look foolish.
The Prophet ﷺ Was Preserved as a Human Being
If the Hadith corpus was a political fabrication designed to deify a man, the narrations would describe a superhuman figure of impossible perfection.
Instead, Sahih Al-Bukhari, the most authenticated Hadith collection in existence, openly preserves the moment the Prophet ﷺ forgot how many Rak'ahs he had prayed and was corrected by his own congregation.
A fabrication network building a religion around a man does not preserve the moments where that man forgot how many times he bowed in prayer.

When the Prophet's infant son Ibrahim died, the sun eclipsed on the same day. NASA's Five Millennium Catalog of Solar Eclipses confirms this eclipse occurred the same moment in 632, visible from Medina.
The people immediately said: The sun eclipsed because of Ibrahim's death.

A fabricator handed a solar eclipse on the exact day of his son's death would have said: Yes. Allah sent this sign for my child.
Instead, the Prophet ﷺ stood up and publicly destroyed the miracle: The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life of anyone.

His companions preserved that correction faithfully for 1,400 years. Even though it made the story less miraculous and removed a supernatural validation he could have easily claimed.

For the fabrication theory to be true, you would need thousands of people across multiple generations, geographies, and political allegiances to independently conspire to invent the same self-incriminating, embarrassing, miracle-destroying stories about themselves and their Prophet.
No fabrication network in human history has ever worked that way.
Fabricators build legends. Honest witnesses preserve the truth, even when the truth is uncomfortable.
The Hadith tradition is filled with uncomfortable truths. That is precisely why it is trustworthy.

لیکن جب مسلمان اللہ کی خاطر کسی جانور کو قربان کر کے اتنا احتیاط برتے کہ چھری تیز ہو جانور کو چارہ اور پانی ڈال کے اور پھر یہ خیال رکھ کے کہ سامنے کوئی اور جانور بھی نہ ہو پھر انکا گوشت مساکین میں تقسیم ہو تو کفار کے پلے ہوئے سوشل میڈیا پر نمودار ہوتے ہیں
وجہ یہ ہے کہ اسلام دین حق ہے اور حق سے شیطانوں کو تکلیف ہوتی ہے
