@cornwallmp I’m not sure about the pre-pandemic state of things in Cornwall, but Covid-19 has certainly made businesses rethink their approach to flexible/remote working which has in turn had a big impact on inclusivity! #RDNetwork

@cornwallmp It was amazing how the community & local businesses came together and crowdfunded to provide laptops for school kids across Cornwall for online learning during lockdown! Sad it had to be done this way though, students should be equipped with tech in the first place #RDNetwork

@cornwallmp There definitely seems to be a lingering perception that rural places like Cornwall can’t be hotbeds of innovation and I’m not sure how quickly we can change that... campaigns like #RebootCornwall are a great start though! #RDNetwork

@cornwallmp When I was at school I don’t think computing was an option, in hindsight I wish I’d been able to do it!
I also think it’s important to break down the stereotype that creative types should take humanities and aren’t suited for digital subjects! #RDNetwork
