We had such a brilliant time last month showcasing some of the fab work going on in Cornish museums to make their collections more accessible and inclusive @musecornishlife @kresenkernow @PKPorthcurno. Huge thanks to @artfund for supporting this collaboration #RDNetwork
Last month we welcomed @shakes_sandra and @Ashtonjohn from the @BlackBritMuseum project to highlight some of the brilliant inclusive work going on in #Cornish #museums telling Black histories.
I've had the most brilliant couple of days hosting @shakes_sandra & @Ashtonjohn in Cornwall as part of our @artfund supported work with @BlackBritMuseum @BVCornwall, spotlighting some of the fab work in Cornwall & connecting with BVC members over museums & heritage #RDNetwork

And please do hop on our list to hear about #NationalInclusionWeekCornwall this autumn, as well as all our grant deadlines and the smart, brilliant innovations local businesses come up with in RD&I. #RDNetwork

@ECEHH That's so true. So many people wouldn't have been able to attend our trainings and discussions easily if they had all been face-to-face meetings. #Cornwall is so spread out - if it's in Saltash and I'm in Truro, I'm probably not going to go in person. #RDNetwork
@AgeUKCornwall Although in all seriousness, being home-bound has affected many people's mental health and lack of switching off from work. #mentalhealth #workingfromhome #RDNetwork
@cornwallmp And did you know we also give grants and paid-for R&D to businesses innovating around workplace wellbeing and inclusion? https://t.co/iLfplwuYxO #RDNetwork
@TheIncProj @FSBSouthWest @cornwallchamber @YPartnerships Yes totally - some of the businesses @TheIncProj has worked with are really doing imaginative stuff like this example from @Ocean3DUK https://t.co/7YF7bAumCk #RDNetwork
@cornwallmp I'm really proud of the frank and honest reflections we've had at CMP embedding a culture of inclusivity & building meaningful collaborations #RDNetwork
@AgeUKCornwall I know, right? Trying to angle your screen so as not to catch sight of the wet towels draped inelegantly on a radiator π€ͺ#RDNetwork
@cornwallmp @UofE_Research And what we plan to do: Let's really shout about what's happening in workplace inclusion down here with our predominantly older demographic in the workplace. During National Inclusion Week, 27th Sept 2021, let's create a SM storm of celebration https://t.co/tyQH2Xcfof #RDNetwork
@cornwallmp In the last year, 1 year since #georgefloyd was killed, 1 year of #Coronavirus, and we have: offered free bias tests; developed @UofE_Research into inclusion policy, implicit bias, and resilience; given grants and paid-for R&D; given training and events #RDNetwork #Cornwall
@cornwallmp @cornwallmp - a fantastic public equity action plan inspired by the #BLM movement, a really supportive remote working manifesto during the pandemic and more recently online abuse training with @thespacearts! #RDNetwork
@TheIncProj @cosmickated @PaulPauldhills His lifeguarding gestures really livened up our meetings and increased engagement! #RDNetwork
@AgeUKCornwall Important point - not just to assume - "oh, it's remote, that's flexible, so it must be inclusive". Plus, being on Zoom all day is a special kind of exhausting and not like a 'real' convo. Zoomxhausting #RDNetwork #workingfromhome #inclusivity
Q4. What has your org or biz done this year, that's improved diversity and inclusion? Let's celebrate small changes #RDNetwork
