I met young doctors from ESIC Hospital, Bihta, Bihar, and learned that many of these young doctors have been working without stipend for nearly one year. I salute their commitment and dedication towards patients despite such hardship.
But what are the Government of India and the Government of Bihar doing? This is deeply painful and unacceptable. Doctors’ labour cannot be taken for granted. Timely payment of stipend is a right, not a favour.
Doctors at ESIC Hospital, Bihta (Patna) are protesting as intern doctors have reportedly not received their stipend for the last 12 months. Stipend amount is also very less in Bihat ESI hospital compared to other ESI hospital. Such delays reflect serious administrative apathy and weaken public healthcare services.
I once again request the concerned officers and ministers to take immediate action.

एफएमजी पास करने के बाद भी 4 महीने इंतजार कर रहे हैं, लेकिन अभी तक इंटर्नशिप के लिए सीट अलॉटमेंट नहीं हुआ है। दो बार मेरिट लिस्ट कैंसिल होने से भविष्य अंधकार में है। जल्दी से समाधान निकालने की जरूरत है।
