Before you begin your thinkpiece, the Supreme Court DID NOT strike down Affirmative Action
Admission preferences for legacies, donors, employee families and special recommendations are still allowed
The Court struck down Affirmative Action For everyone except WHITE PEOPLE
If SCOTUS was serious about their ludicrous “colorblindness” claims, they would have abolished legacy admissions, aka affirmative action for the privileged.
70% of Harvard’s legacy applicants are white. SCOTUS didn’t touch that - which would have impacted them and their patrons.
Scientists have used DNA to generate a face they believed belonged to a girl buried over 1,300 years ago. This grave was excavated a decade ago in Britain; however, it has puzzled archaeologists as the girl who was found inside the grave is a figure of mystery. It is believed that this girl is of German origin. The way she was buried, along with the cross discovered with her, makes her one of the earliest Christian converts found in Britain. She died at the age of 16, but her cause of death is unknown.
The girl may be of high social status or even royalty. What is known is that the girl had a change of diet when she arrived in Britain, particularly a lack of protein. This change of diet may have caused an illness, but this is just speculation.
@HeckTyIer @VapeMusik I get it cause as someone who smokes weed (New York) it’s about 10 dollars a gram here, which isn’t bad but not cheap either. I just think people really don’t understand how much pain meds and mental health medication costs my Prozac for a month was almost 300 dollars
In 1923 Fannie Taylor, a white woman, lied and said she was assaulted by Jesse Hunter, a Black man.
A racist mob of white men attacked the Black community in Rosewood, FLORIDA, killing hundreds of Black women, men, and children, burning the town to the ground, and forcing survivors to permanently flee Rosewood.
Because of white supremacist governor @RonDeSantis and the racist @Moms4Liberty this history can’t be taught in FLORIDA where it happened because it will make white kids feel bad.
@FPWellman@NikkiHaley I was born in 2005 I was the onl6 black kid in my class till 7th grade, constantly got bullied cause of my hair, my nose and my body cause I had the typical curvy African body.
Yeah, my mom and dad's interracial marriage was illegal until I was a year old and then--later--they struggled to buy a home in their Long Island community because people didn't want to sell to a Black lady. Good times!
The problem with Nikki Haley is not that she is a woman or a 1st generation immigrant or even conservative. It’s how her hypocritical use of these weaponized racist dog whistles.
You know who Nikki Haley really hates?
Nikki Haley
A thread
OH THIS IS GOOD:
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: Ted Lieu has the PERFECT response to Nikki Haley’s statement that life was easier when we were “growing up.”
In a tweet, Haley wrote:
“Do you remember when you were growing up, do you remember how simple life was, how easy it felt?
It was about faith, family, and country. We can have that again, but to do that, we must vote Joe Biden out.”
Ted Lieu reminded her that for some, things weren’t always so easy. 👇
“Dear Nikki Haley.
I remember growing up, when folks called me Ch*nk. Threw eggs at our house. Slashed our tires. Called the police on us because they thought Asians like us were stealing wild ducks for food. And no one in government looked like me or you.”
Lieu concluded:
“Life sure was simple.”
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Rep. Lieu!
This was well said and also so sad to read. I think it’s clear that Rep. Lieu grew up to embrace the truth and reality and doesn’t gloss over the past for political gain.
Smash that 💙 if you stand with Rep. Ted Lieu over Nikki Haley any day of the week!

This is what we're fighting against — a mob boss and is criminal empire.
To use the words of Adam Schiff:
"We must say enough — enough! He has betrayed our national security, and he will do so again. He has compromised our elections, and he will do so again. You will not change him. You cannot constrain him. He is who he is. Truth matters little to him. What's right matters even less, and decency matters not at all."
