@b0ssmann312@LJBehr_12@fousey It’s not the knowledge or lore. A movie should be a competent self contained story even within a larger world. The script of this movie undercuts the visual and cinematic brilliance by making the third arc a complete chore because I have no investment in what’s happening.
@LJBehr_12@fousey It is the truth. The reason the movie isn’t successful has nothing to do with lore. It’s beautifully shot, the tone and sense of dread are well executed in first half. The script and characters are so poorly drawn out that the dread becomes boredom because I don’t care anymore.
@LJBehr_12@fousey Movies are supposed to stand on their own. If I have to watch a whole series of something else in order to like a movie then the movie is not successful.
@OptHou@Leeeeenard@FourGuardWas@RaptorsShaq@ThtOverJordan There’s really nothing anybody can say to you to have a constructive conversation. The video clearly shows Hayes jumping forward into Shai’s space and making contact with the body which is a black and white foul. You’re working backwards from the conclusion you want to make
@OptHou@Leeeeenard@FourGuardWas@RaptorsShaq@ThtOverJordan This is why screenshots don’t help, the video clearly shows Hayes jumping into Shai rather than going straight vertical or even just jumping along his own path of travel. If he goes up and gets the block without leaning his whole body on Shai then it’s a different story
@nazachiii@MasterClutch_ “Nowadays” Magic is literally on camera joking about not touching MJ in a picture or else he’ll get called for a foul. It’s been this way for a long time.
JAY-Z says the Kendrick Lamar / Drake beef went too far and admits he “almost wishes” it didn’t happen:
"In this day and age, it's so much negative stuff that comes with it ,that you almost wish it didn't happen."
"I don't know if battling needs to be part of the culture anymore." (via GQ)
