Big congrats to @_sujaya ⭐️
Earlier this year Susa presented a session, Concept of workload specifications within your developer workflow and a guided tour of Score, and gain practical insights into integrating Score into your workflow.

#WorkloadSpecification tools make it easier to manage workloads🥊But how do you choose the right tool? 🤔
In this article, @_sujaya & Mathieu from @humanitec_com & @TheTechMaharaj explore various options & discuss the criteria to choose the right one 👇

Excited for KubeCon? 🚀 Swing by Humanitec's booth #D35 and let's dive into all things Score! Some of the project’s contributors will be there, ready to chat and share the latest updates. Check out more details here: https://t.co/0B5xwsZG9v See you there! #KubeCon#Score
Thanks to @_sujaya I learned @score_dev - focused on finding the right level of abstraction for dev's, effectively separating their concerns from the platform & infra-related complexities leading to a dev-centric, platform-agnostic approach.

@score_dev allows devs to describe their workloads & dependencies as code once run them across all envs and introduces a single change to your setup
To get to the bottom, let's meet @_sujaya this Thursday.

Let's explore the concept of workload specifications within your dev workflow using @score_dev allows devs to describe their workloads & dependencies as code once and run them across all environments

4/7 Are the config files gen'd by Score deployment-ready?
It depends. The Hello World guides for score-compose & score-helm allow you to directly deploy a workload.
In complex cases, the config gen'd by Score might need additional configs provided by a platform or ops team
3/7 How does @score_dev actually work?
A Score Spec implementation ( e.g score-compose CLI) will generate a config file (e.g. docker-compose.yaml) that can be combined with env-specific parameters to run the workload in the target env
4/6 Our long term vision for Score is to grow a community for discussing cloud-native development, developer tooling, and developer experience. We want to create a space for developers to come together and explore new ways of working.
3/6 🗣️ Some of the most popular feature requests were a JSON schema to solve the issue of missing validation, CI/CD integration, simplified installation options, and better documentation.
If you’d like to get involved, check the contribution guidelines!
