While I definitely don’t know everything, I know some things that could be helpful to budding tech founders building industry-shifting startups. Pulling on my years of experience as a builder in the aerospace industry to work, here’s one of the many things I’ve learned.
I’ve got a gift for y’all — my first article, hot off the press.
If public-private partnerships inline w/ @a16z’s American Dynamism thesis and @generalcatalyst’s Civic Vertical are your thing, check it out.

@Kyleculus@adatta02 Agreed — to tie it back, understanding general capital efficiency is huge for founders entering into any valuation/fundraising discussions.
Understanding margins and growth trajectory can inform founders as they set key strategic milestones for the company.
@Kyleculus Again — either is completely okay and can create amazing businesses that create great jobs (as @techbaddieallie mentioned). But it’s something to think about when deciding whether venture is the right type of capital to fund the business vs alternatives like venture debt, etc.
@Kyleculus Thinking out loud — a company that has tech embedded in their core offering/value prop for customers, I’d call a tech company. Tech-enabled I’d see more as a company that uses tech tools/solutions to facilitate product/service delivery but it’s not core to the business model.
See! This is what I’m talking about.
If they don’t let me in this class and stop worrying about my reproductive system…🙄 There are clearly bigger things to worry about.
I’m heartbroken. I’m at my course limit and the prof. won’t let me audit Sustainable Cities & Climate Adaptation.
Why are we gatekeeping? I just want to learn. I’m just trying to heal the earth.
Y’all are out here trying to control women’s bodies when Miami is about to break off like a graham cracker and float down to the Bahamas?
✨bffr✨
There are big challenges we need men to fix in this world but regulating women’s rights and access to healthcare isn’t one of them.
In just a month, House Republicans have proposed not 1, not 2, but 3 national abortion bans.
Over 100 bills restricting women’s access to reproductive care have been filed by Republican officials across the U.S.
This isn’t about “freedom."It’s about taking away women’s rights.
