Over the past 2.5 years, the Legora team has constantly redefined my bar for moving at AI speed and building exceptional AI products. Spend any time with them and their customers and it’s clear that Legora is a truly special company with an insanely exciting future ahead. A huge congrats to the team on this milestone!

[Redpoint @Redpoint]

Congratulations to @bernhardsson, @akshat_b, and the entire @modal team on their $750M Series D! We’re honored to continue our partnership.

Erik started Modal to solve his own problem. While building Spotify’s music recommendation system, he found that roughly 90% of the work went into the infrastructure underneath it rather than the system itself. So he set out to build the infrastructure layer he wished he’d had, with its own file system, container runtime, scheduler, and networking on a capacity pool that spans 20+ clouds. Thousands of developers now use Modal, and Erik is still driven by the same thing that got him started: “building something that people like.”

We first reached out to Erik years before investing, after his post on the future of the cloud went viral on Hacker News. Having partnered with Erik and Akshat since their Series A and doubling down in every round since, we’ve seen how early they spot what developers will need next. Today, Modal has crossed $1B in run-rate, more than tripling in the five months since their Series C and growing over 15x year over year.

We’re excited to keep backing Erik, Akshat, and the Modal team as they build high-performance AI infrastructure for the next generation of software 💚

"Everybody is looking at how we can squeeze the most juice possible out of the chips that exist in the world today."

@ericabrescia joined Bloomberg this week to talk about where value in the AI ecosystem goes next, specifically the inference stack.

As more AI moves into production, Erica is seeing private companies across inference grow at astronomical rates. She sees innovation happening across the entire inference stack, from the chip level with new memory-optimized architectures to inference engines and new model architectures. She's also a big believer in a heterogeneous future from an accelerator perspective, creating investment opportunities across each layer of the stack.

She expects that growth to continue for both inference serving providers and the companies building the technology that enables inference, whether it runs on neoclouds, hyperscalers, or inside enterprises themselves.

Congratulations to Kevin Mandia, Travis Lanham, Evan Peña, David Slater, and the entire @ArmadinSecurity team on their $255.5M Series B! We're excited to partner with them as they enter this next chapter.

AI has compressed the time between vulnerability disclosure and periodic penetration tests can't keep pace.

Armadin deploys a swarm of specialized agents that think like a skilled adversary. They chain low-severity weaknesses into validated attack paths so security teams can shut them down before anyone exploits them. Seven months after emerging from stealth, Armadin is already running these campaigns in production for Fortune 500 enterprises and government customers.

Few teams know the attacker's playbook better. Kevin founded Mandiant, which Google Cloud acquired for $5.4B, and helped expose the 2020 SolarWinds supply chain attack. Evan spent 13 years at Mandiant, where he helped build and later led a red team that grew to more than 200 consultants. Travis and David both come from Google Cloud Security Operations, where Travis was the technical lead who scaled the business from launch and David architected a data platform that processes trillions of events per day.

We're honored to back Kevin, Travis, Evan, David, and the Armadin team as they put AI-powered offense to work for defenders. 🎉

Congrats to @StephanEwen and the @restatedev team on their $20M Series A! We backed Restate at seed and are thrilled to keep building with Stephan, Till, Igal, Ahmed and the rest of the Restate team.

Software has always had to survive interruption, but AI agents raise the stakes. Agents run longer, call models and APIs, use tools, and change direction mid-task. When something breaks, there is far more to preserve. It's no longer only the execution that needs to survive, but the state and communication around it.

Restate's founders created Apache Flink, which became foundational infrastructure for real-time data systems. With Restate, they built durable execution on a purpose-built distributed log, so execution, state, and communication live in one lightweight system with no external database required.

It's already running in production. Restate handles all durable orchestration for Replit Agent, and hundreds of companies, from leading AI companies to the Fortune 500, rely on it for mission-critical workloads.

We're proud to continue our partnership with Stephan and the Restate team as they make durability a property of the infrastructure itself. Let's go, team 🚀!

[Stephan Ewen @StephanEwen]

Three years ago, we started Restate because we felt that building reliable distributed applications was just too hard. We were solving the same problems around failures, recovery, and consistency again and again.

Today, I'm excited to share that we've raised a $20M Series A led by Singular with participation from Redpoint Ventures and Capital One Ventures.

The need for solutions like Durable Execution has only grown since we started. Today, the majority of new Restate use cases are AI agents: long-running processes, coordinating across many tools and APIs, that need to keep working correctly through all sorts of failures and interruptions, coordinate sub-agents, or schedule work.

At the same time, our customers have pushed Restate into places that expanded our own view of what Durable Execution could become. Replit moved the execution of Replit Agent onto Restate. DOSS runs high volumes of enterprise workflows on Restate and Fortune 500 institutions are using Restate for complex transactional workflows.

We think this is just the beginning and excited to build what we believe will be a fundamental pillar of all infrastructure in the future.

Congrats to Lohit Sarma, Tal Yusov, Michael McDermott, and the entire @weareande team on their $52M fundraise. We're proud to back them as they redefine the corporate entertainment network.

Ande gives teams a single platform to book entertainment effortlessly while finance and legal keep full visibility into spend. Entertainment builds culture, closes deals and deepens the relationships that matter most. Whether it's a team dinner reservation or booking the holiday party, Ande provides the infrastructure to manage both sides of every transaction.

Lohit's startup DNA and enterprise experience give us confidence in the team's ability to scale and innovate. His co-founders Tal and Michael scaled Lifion alongside him, and from there they've built out the rest of the team from companies including Navan, Uber Eats, Resy, and Restaurants365.

We're honored to be on this journey with the Ande team as they connect both sides of corporate entertainment. 🎉

[Redpoint @Redpoint]

@weareande Congrats team 👏👏👏

[Ande @weareande]

@MaxJunestrand love this 💪!!

[Max Junestrand @MaxJunestrand]

I first came to San Francisco when I was 15, with my dad. He is a programmer. To a teenager from a small island outside of Stockholm, this was the place where the future was being built.

We walked into Salesforce East and stood there watching the enormous digital display of moving water. Outside, Salesforce Tower was starting to rise.

I remember looking up and thinking it would be pretty sweet to have a tower someday. We are not there yet.

What I could not have known is that I would be back years later, having dinner with @Benioff and welcoming @salesforce as a @WeAreLegora customer.

Salesforce's Legal and Corporate Affairs organization will now use Legora across North America, EMEA and APAC. Their lawyers keep the judgment calls. We take care of the work around them. We have run on Slack since day one and became Salesforce customers when our sales team outgrew its first CRM, so it is good to have it run in the other direction too.

Welcome to Legora, Salesforce.

Dad, this one feels special.

Congratulations to @sahirjaggi and the entire @forus team on raising a $150M Series C!

Sahir has assembled a truly special team that is moving fast to solve some of healthcare's most important problems. Forus connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma so new science actually reaches the patients who need it.

Forus is now used by providers across all 50 states, reaching patients in 85% of U.S. residential ZIP codes, and works with nine of the world's 15 largest biopharmaceutical companies.

We're proud to keep backing Sahir and the entire Forus team and couldn't be more excited for what's ahead 📷

[Sahir @sahirjaggi]

We’re announcing that Forus has raised a $150M Series C at a $3B valuation to build the AI network for medicine.

Medicine will remain one of the world’s most important industries until humanity achieves immortality, and we are only at the beginning of a new era in what it can do. GLP-1s are changing obesity and cardiometabolic disease. Gene therapies can treat diseases at their genetic source. New cancer treatments are turning diagnoses that were once fatal into diseases people can live with. AI is enabling us to discover of new drugs even faster.

But discovery is only the beginning. It still takes more than a decade and billions of dollars to turn a new molecule into an approved medicine, and once it reaches market, more than a third of patients prescribed specialty treatments never receive their first dose.

Forus is creating the AI network to accelerate the entire medicine pipeline, from development and launch through prescription and treatment. We connect the companies creating medicines with the doctors who prescribe them and the patients who need them.

Today, Forus supports millions of people across all 50 states and is already used by providers to treat patients in 85% of U.S. residential ZIP codes. 9 of the top 15 global biopharma companies work with us, alongside many fast-growing biotechs. Our goal is to put Forus in every doctor’s office in the country and unlock an order of magnitude more medicine for society.

There is a generational opportunity to rethink how new medicine reaches people. Forus is becoming how medicine moves from discovery to treatment in America, and as we scale, we’ll become the most important company in life sciences.

Forus is not constrained by capital or customer demand; we are constrained by the talent and capacity of our team. To take on the opportunity in front of us, we need exceptional engineers and operators in New York who want to move fast and help us make something that matters. Come build with us.

Our Series C was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Vast Ventures, and SV Angel investing alongside them.
